House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday urged illegal immigrants to refuse to open the door to ICE officers, saying they have rights and must exercise them to thwart the administration’s planned deportation sweep.

“An ICE deportation warrant is not the same as a search warrant,” Mrs. Pelosi said at her weekly press conference.

    Mis-information and Obstruction of Justice:
    Pelosi says,
Administrative warrants are not the same as a judicial criminal warrant, and lawyers say migrants have the right to refuse entry to a home if ICE only has an administrative warrant.

Pelosi is not a lawyer. She is a traitor.

ICE doesn't need a warrant. The illegal aliens are Fugitives who have been issued a deportation order. They can be picked up by ICE, A federal Marshal, local police or even a bounty hunter.

This is the Speaker pandering for votes. Given her recent brouhaha with Rep Cortez, she needs to remind her base she is “progressive”.

I'm pretty sure giving tips to lawbreakers so that they can break the law more effectively makes her an accomplice. Seriously you should be prosecuted for that kind of stuff.

Uh, except she's right. They don't have to open the door. They do have legal rights.

ICE often uses administrative orders. That means that they cannot enter a house to arrest a deportee without permission. This is why they arrest them in public.

That's a normal ICE Warrant. These are court ordered Final Deportation orders ICE is serving. They are fugitives. They have already gotten a "Bag and Baggage" letter. (Form I-166). ICE refers those who ignore the order to fugitive unit, which tracks down and arrests those noncitizens who fail to report for removal. ICE agents could arrest you at your home, work, or school at anytime. They often come in the middle of the night, when you are expected to be asleep at your home.

At the point of becoming a fugitive, the illegal is a felon. It is no longer a simple misdemeanor. This is what the illegals should be told, not the crap Pelosi is spewing.

But then the illegals complain about being arrested in public. What's a mother to do?

The illegals have already had their day in court. It’s time for them to go.

And don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Um when do the rights of American citizens come into play? When did we lose the right to keep out undesirables? Why can't we force liberal majority white communities to take the illegals? Perhaps we should build massive 1000 housing unit complexes in every liberal majority white community in the country and fill them with illegals. You want them, you get them. I further propose that liberals be forced to stay in those communities instead of engaging in white flight like they always do.

The ONLY reason people like you support this atrocity is because you know how these people will vote. The fact that they are competing with poor Americans for very limited housing is of no concern. Who gives a **** about the suffering of poor Americans as long as it is not in your neighborhood..... amirite?

I don't blame you, I blame the few billionaire elites responsible for this mess and for brainwashing people like you. Weird that the people who gain the MOST from this type of immigration are in the 1% and the people who suffer the most are the taxpayers and the poor.

The target are those with judicial warrants for crimes committed. There may be collateral pickups but the one's with criminal records are the ones being sought.

For the first couple thousand maybe. Once they get to the other 800,000 fugitives, they are not going in with administrative warrants. They have already been issued court ordered deportations. Pissing off even activist judges is not a good idea. They not only get another warrant added but can also get jail time before they get to leave.

Pelosi and any other person who thinks they are doing illegals a favor are pretty stupid. Besides being stupid, aiding and abetting a fugitive is also a felony. Pelosi is not above the law.

I really thought I would never see the day when the highest elected official in one of our political parties would be encouraging non-citizens to further break the law in our once great country. This is so far off the charts it would be laughable if not so sad and symptomatic of the decay from within. At this point, I have to think the Dems believe they have no chance of winning the next election and are just pandering to their liberal leftist base in order to try and hold onto the House.......

That's cool, ICE should just park outside their houses and search out any other illegal aliens in the area, as usually illegal aliens tend to flock to the same areas. I'm sure the neighbors would really appreciate that. They can just pick them up when they leave the house...

. . . not allowing them in without a warrant is not breaking the law.

True, but democrats again are obviously trying to thwart many of the laws they themselves passed.

Actually a pretty good option, if ICE just sits there none of the illegals in the area would feel safe leaving, then they'd lose the jobs they stole from Americans and be unable to afford the rent. You could probably clear out whole neighborhoods in a short amount of time...

After hundreds of conversations about illegal immigration with Trump supporters, I can safely say this has absolutely nothing to do with the rule of law.

Oh, you mean following the laws that many democrats passed has nothing to do with the rule of law? Liberal logic 101.

When I've seen Trump supporters advocate:
    * Letting Trump violate the spending clause to build his wall
    * Using the military as a domestic police force
    * The removal of due process for asylum seekers
    * Even going so far as using lethal force to prevent border crossings

Then, yeah, they don't actually care about the rule of law. That isn't what this is about.

Well, you apparently think it is OK for the left to ignore the law so quite whining about others.

Why wouldn’t she be encouraging these lawless people to turn themselves into ICE, instead of putting our federal agents at risk?
