    Speaker Nancy Pelosi told senior Democrats that she’d like to see President Donald Trump “in prison” as she clashed with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in a meeting on Tuesday night over whether to launch impeachment proceedings.

    “I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi said, according to multiple Democratic sources familiar with the meeting. Instead of impeachment, Pelosi still prefers to see Trump defeated at the ballot box and then prosecuted for his alleged crimes, according to the sources.

    You go, girl..... we all want that, but it's a wish that is very unlikely to happen, even after he leaves office. Be content with getting him out of office, one way or the other, by January 2021, with a completely demolished Republican party.

    I fully disagree with her stance on starting impeachment hearing in Nadler's committee... Those need to start ASAP. A determination on when or if to hold a vote can come at a later time...

    I wonder if she sanctioned Nadler's hearing on Monday, with John Dean doing the "Mueller Report for Dummies" thing?

    Pelosi is senile, she has no credibility, NONE. As the speaker of the house she just gave Trump a reason to tell her to pound sand and not work with her. Had she said that about Clinton she’d already be suicided.

    Here the thing with DC, if there was a chance of impeachment working, they would have pulled the trigger and we be already on that path. In the wake of the Muller report and everything else, the fact that they haven't impeached, tells you that there is no change that is going to happen. So you best accept that, and get ready for a 2nd term of Trump.

    what have the demcs accomplished since taking the house? I was talking with my Father tonight about how AOC been some quiet. She isn't shooting her mouth off. Both my Father and I believe that the internal polling may show them loosening the house next cycle.

    I say you overzealous types need to obey, Pelosi, and realize that trying to impeach Trump = political suicide plus it guarantees he is reelected in 2020.

    Because in the eyes of voters he will look invincible noble exculpable and, Presidential, once the U.S. Senate refuses to join The House to impeach Trump.

    Of course, she has no specifics for any legitimate reason to take Trump down. What she and the Democrats are doing is horrible for the nation moving forward. These acts are not meant to just attack Trump, but ANYONE that has the nerve to run for President that is not in the establishment.

    America really wants to know how she got so fantastically wealthy on her congressional salary.
