Taking out the religious connotations, it also looks like a triumph of procedure over common sense. Apparently there were staff available who could have put the woman back in bed, but they "needed" the senior nurse on duty to sign off on the procedure. This was probably part of the never-ending attempt to avoid lawsuits - ironic since the woman's family will probably sue now anyway.

 

Good pick, representing quality of life and the reason muslims (and hindu) leave India behind for UK. However, as irrelevant as discussion about hijab to this topic is, I am willing to find and post articles about women who are so poor, they cannot purchase proper hijab. Want me to?

So, I believe, pic's author knows if the picture of a muslim women or a hindu women.
