Nothing good comes from disagreeing with people rather than ideas, but the very worst things come from agreeing with people rather than ideas. Thinking of oneself or others, first and foremost, as members of groups rather than individuals renders that one not only most likely to disagree with people rather than ideas, but also most likely to agree with people rather than ideas. 'With us or against us', takes precedence over other ideas when one thinks of them self or others, first and foremost, as members of groups rather than individuals.
that is true when we view people as part of a group rather than as individuals we attribute things to people that may or not be true. I make that mistake all the time..
