You're free to send in extra money to the US Treasury. Do you even pay taxes?

How about we start by making the half that pay no income tax pay something, just to have skin in the game?

No. How about the rich pay their fair share for being able to play and succeed at the game.

Oh I completely agree, but it’s hard to pay income taxes — they still do pay sales tax, gas tax, cell tax, power tax, and other fees that are regressive — when you are spending every cent you make on living expenses.

So you're saying half the country doesn't have any income?

The top few % pay most of the taxes. They already contribute enough by providing desired goods and services to millions. In the free enterprise system, you generally succeed to the extent you serve other people, as did Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, etc.

The top few % do not pay enough of their fair share of the taxes to earn morally and financially their level of living. No one is worried about what is called "the free enterprise system" except those who are gaming it to get even more than the loads they are getting now. It works. The proceeds are what is in question now.

higher taxes for the filthy rich, less taxes for the working class
remember the Trump tax cuts that favored the mega corps when the dems wanted a bigger permanent tax cuts for the middle class instead

Republicans cut funding years ago. In April of 2015 the House Appropriations Subcommittee (Republican) marked up the 2016 Veterans Affairs funding bill, and slashed more than $1.4 billion from the president’s requested budget for America’s Veterans.
    https://www.blogs.va.gov/VAntage/19356/how-1-4-billion-in-budget-cuts-will-impact-veterans/

They were looking at how to damage the VA back in 2011!!!

I'm aware that Republicans passed ridiculous bills requiring that the USPS do what no other business must do. The problem is the USPS retiree healthcare and pension plans! In 2006, Congress passed the Postal Accountability Enhancement Act (PAEA), which requires the USPS to fully fund retiree health care benefits 75 years in advance. They have to pay for health care benefits for future retirees who have not even been born yet. The reason for this?... --to bankrupt the USPS so Republicans can "justify" privatizing it.

Do you think spending the same is cut?

Is what was spent the previous year the same as " president’s requested budget"?

None of this is news. Do your own research on it so you won't just reject what I may say.

.....and yet Warren Buffett pays less tax than his Secretary. The Democrats talk about taxing the rich, never do then raise taxes on the middle class.

That’s not what I said or implied. I stated that all of their income goes towards living expenses aka no disposable income.

Only an idiot would think that half the country has no income, or come to that opinion of what someone else said.

Half the country is too poor to pay federal income tax.

Really? You said "The Democrats talk about taxing the rich, never do then raise taxes on the middle class." and I'm trying to figure out what you were trying to say. Are you saying "but they never do then raise taxes on the middle class" suggesting you think they should, or are you saying "but please never do then raise taxes on the middle class" or what?

The sooner Pete and Beto drop out
the better for the Democratic Party.

There are too many candidates and someone
is gonna get vitriolic to gain attention, fershur,
and then the Party Self Destructs All Over Again.
Mulatto United might then concentrate on "one" and shed their excess.

Pete and Beto are both losers.
A good place to start reducing the candidacies.

Make it up to them by offering a PPV Contract of
Pete vs Beto in some sort of cage fight.
    Or maybe more like,

    Moi :oldman:
