    Fortunately, there is no law against members of Congress buying stocks in 'defense companies' and then promoting a war.

    Well hopefully Boeing is better at building for the DoD than they are for the civilian transportation sector...

    They don't usually cut corners on military projects.

    That is because the DoD makes sure they don't.

    Yes, the Ferengi are right.

    Near the end of the Vietnam War, the US went off the gold standard.

    But part of the US, the infamous Military Industrial Complex, robs the rest of the US.

    Since the M.I.C. has the lobbyists they get rich and everyone else gets poor.

    I would call that corruption, but it's been going on for a long time and we tolerate it.
