The son of the artist formerly known as Prince died of Pfeiffer Syndrome Type 2 complications.

Could the mal development of the child within the womb be caused due to the mother's incorrect sleeping positions? Putting internal pressure upon the skull of the soft skull tissue of the child can result in a mal-fused skull. And after it has been fused into a certain 'shape', the continuing growth of the skull will remain within the growth paths the skull was fused into. The skull will grow upward, backward and sideways within the given constraints the skull was originally fused as.

Could sleeping on the side put pressure onto the rib cage which will put pressure onto the womb?

or could sleeping on your back during the later months of pregancies put pressure also?

when is the skull bones 'fused' within the womb? Early months? Late months? Could some women who do not know that they are pregnant be sleeping as if they were not, and hence, additional pressures to the womb?

    No

Usually this is a genetic issue

Not all pregnancies end with perfect little babies

Sleeping on your back during the later months can cause the mother to drop her blood pressure dangerously
