Spygate was so stupid. They were "caught" filming from the wrong side. You can still film their practices (could at the time).

Deflate gate, as Mike and Mike in the morning call it "The dumbest thing alive" is supposed to be a 50K organizational fine. It's IN the NFL rulings.

Drew Brees admitted that he adds more psi than allowed because it's how he prefers to throw the ball. Same with Petyon.

Brady got suspended (after he was cleared, by the way) because he refused to cooperate with Goodell's witch hunt.

Brady is the best QB of all time. Plain and simple

No they are not. Barry Bonds actually got caught cheating. Tom Brady had nothing to do with Spy Gate, and deflate gate wasn't punishable because of deflated balls, it was the fact that Brady didn't give into the investigation that never should have happened. After which, tons of players came out in support of him, as OPPOSED to barry bonds.

Brady's done nothing to be "tainted" like Bonds. He's the greatest back of all time

Brady is the Greatest QB of All Time.

That is no longer even a subject for debate.

    1+1=2.

    The Ocean Contains Water.

Tom Brady is the GOAT QB.

    Etc. :salute:

Wow. Didn't see that one coming. Brady and the Pats took a major bed sheet.

I wonder what Brees is gonna do to that pass D?

I recorded the game but saw Brady with no TDs. Wonder if they actually do have problems now, or if it was just an off week.

The football had too much air in it , it was too heavy for Tommy to throw .

Unfortunately I had that feeling. Pats have a nasty history with the Chiefs. It all started when Gronk didn't make that catch in the end zone to make it 14 nothing right off the bat. Lost all momentum on the first 4th down failure.

Bad play calling, bad execution, and horrible defense. Oh well, it's only game one

Hah, Tom's the slowest guy in the league and always looks tired. If you're looking to take a shot, aim for the hoodie or deflate gate again.

As for the Rams, as long as Gurley gets the ball I'm fine. He's my leading rusher

    Yeah.

I really think the turning point was when the Pats had to settle for the FG on that 1st and goal (late in the 3rd quarter).

If the Pats punch it in there, you are looking at a 31-21 (2-score game).

Instead is 27-21, then KC is one big play from regaining the lead. Which they did.

A lot of the post-mortem seems to revolve around Reid's scheme of dropping 8 guys into coverage.and using a 3-man rush.

But, there is no doubt that the Pats need to tighten up the pass D, or Brees is gonna carve them up.

But, yeah, it is only one game.

Still, a lot of red flags for NE fans.

It will be interesting if the same teams meet in the AFC Champ Game.

Losing Ninko (and hightower during the game) has really hurt our pass rush. Until we find a pass rush, our corners and safety's are going to be worked like dogs out there.

Yup. They gotta figure something out before Brees.

Brady is still adjusting to life without Edelman.

Yea. They knew each other's patterns so well, plus with JE11 out there it made it impossible for D's to double cover Gronk. If we had JE11, Cooks, and Gronk all healthy...there goes the double cover. We need receivers to step up.

    Yup.

In Brady's scheme, Edelman is irreplaceable.

I like Hogan, but Brady also needs others to step up.

Yea. I'm not judging him on game one, as Brady tends to have trouble shaking off the summer. But he made some poor throws with wide open Hogan, Gronk, and Dola. He put Dola in a lot of danger twice because of bad throws.

Just needs to shake it off and get his head right.

Brady was actually over throwing most of his throws. Maybe he's too strong now

Hey! Always a good day when the Pats lose but the big news here is that the Pats defense has given up 77 points over its last two games. That number could have easily approached 90 if the Falcons hadn't crapped all over themselves in the 4th.

Nothing but respect for Billb. The offense is OK despite the new parts but I don't see how you can adjust a defense that let Alex Smith put nearly 400 yards on you.

Pats will still win the east (Hey, it's the Jets, Bills, and Fins. The Bengals could win the east) but if the D doesn't right itself this is a 10-6 team and out in the divisional round.

Yup. Can't argue with a single word here. Our D needs to shape the hell up. Still early and plenty of time for coach to make moves

    Superman at 40.

Knowing Tom and The Hoodie, they will figure out a scheme to get it done vs the Saints.
