I doubt it. I think if the Pats keep winning, and the Chiefs bounce back (with their terrible D they'll lose a few more)....the pats will rest Brady and the crew if they clinch a bye.

I'd rather a 12-4 season with a SB victory than a 16-0 post season lost again.

So both Brady and his personal trainer/business partner have sold their Mass. houses.

Some claim Brady wants to go to another team (I disagree- think he's ready to retire after this season).

What do you (anyone on the thread) think of that?

Not buying it. But, who really knows?

That said, if he got his 7th SB, it would be a great way to go out on top.:salute:

I completely agree. He's always said he wants to play until he's 45...but if he got his 7th ring (which is more than the entire Steelers organization) I would be more than happy to give him congrats and to wish him well on retirement.

How about Coach B draining the clock with those false starts and delay of game!!! LOL! I laughed SO hard. The Jets are so stupid

That (about Jets game) was hilarious.

Brady SHOULD go out On Top.

I would hate to see him try to squeeze out one more year and have a noticeable breakdown in skills (Like Favre's last season).

    Favre had no offensive line!!!!!

I only remember that because I had him as my fantasy QB in my league.

How can the Pats be only a -3 Fave vs The Ravens?

With Brady throwing a pick, a fumble being returned for a TD. multiple key penalties, and turning TDs into FGs--The Patriots may have finally been exposed as Pretenders.

The WORST Game that The Pats and Brady have played in ages.

Oh my god that's the biggest overreaction in a long time.

Brady has NO O-line. The o line has been trash all year. Luckily for him, they've been playing crappy teams. The patriots NEEDED a loss to a good team with a mobile QB for current tape to review in the bye week, and leading up to the playoffs. Pats needed this. Coach B also knows he needs to remove play calling power from his son and take it over like he had in the first few weeks.

This loss is GREAT tape to put the D and the O line in check for better opponents.

Had nothing to do with just a couple Brady mistakes.

Good point about winning against crappy teams.

Essentially, the Pats went 8-0 against some of the worst teams (and QBs) in the league.

Then, when they finally get a National showcase game, they get buried.

Hopefully they right the ship, but after the bye they have a lot of good QBs coming up.

Hopefully, Brady isn't starting to finally lose it.

You can only blame so much on the O Line.

Also, in that sort of game, it really magnifies how much they miss Gronk.

There was a critical dropped pass (on a catch that Gronk made 100 times out of 100).

The next game will be interesting.

Patriots are only going get their respect back if they bury their opponent and easily cover the spread.

Brady isn't losing anything. His O line hasn't been this bad since the Pats Broncos AFC championship. Wynn is Brady's blind side and he's literally just coming back after a torn achilles. O line needs this bye week, bad.

Garrett has to be gone for the rest of the season? Correct?

If the NFL is as serious about concussion related issues, they'll suspend him for the rest of this season, and all of next season.

The amount of force that hit to the head is equal (heard this on the radio today) to taking a 150 MPH pitch to the head with no helmet. The man ripped his helmet off and beat him with it.

Though its frickin hilarious, it's also extremely violent and dangerous. A 17 year old did that in Walpole when I was in high school and he was charged for it.

    I like that idea.

But, obviously, he has to be gone (AT LEAST) for the rest of 2019.

But, yes, I would totally support him missing ALL of Next Year (along with the Rest of This Year)...:salute:

Myles Garrett should be in custody, facing assault charges. He should never be allowed on a football field again. The entire Browns organization should be ejected from the league. Their behavior as a team is reprehensible. Nothing but thugs. Nobody is even talking about the helmet-to-helmet that got Randall ejected. He makes a guy bleed from his ear, and it's barely news because this later attack was so brutal.

    Madness.

What Myles Garrett did to Steeler quarterback Mason Rudolph was selfish and unacceptable and Garret admitted it. Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is out for the season and possibly Mason Rudolph? What is this coming to? Steelers are running out of quarterbacks and that isn't fair is it? Miles Garrett I regret to say should be banned or expelled from the NFL for life. It unsportsmanlike conduct NO MATTER WHAT OR HOW YOU SEE IT. It's wrong period! and Garrett sees like that as well and all football player including athletes of all kinds should have self control of themselves. If you get into a fight in football, baseball, basketball, You're out of the game. In hockey 2 to 5 minutes in the penalty box. There should be justice in sports and everywhere else. That's all I'm going to say.

If you rip off another hockey player's helmet and beat him in the head with it, it's not just a 5 minute major. It's massive suspensions. It violates the CP protocol.

Not sure why you just made this part up (in bold).

Will The Pats get back on track vs The Eagles?

Game opened at -3 now at -5.

Lots of people are expecting the Pats to get back in the Win Column.:salute:

9, COUNT EM, 9 MAJOR drops by Pats receivers. Two in the end zone- one being an easy one to Edelman. Was very disappointed with the way our receivers played last night. Brady, throwing into 20+ MPH winds was throwing some dimes and Sanu (who is very new to the team so I'll give him that) was under-running routes. Meyers flat out ran TWO wrong routes.

Glad Romo noticed this and was commentating on it because ESPN (who hates Brady) was very quick to blame this on Brady.

Week 13 is in the books...

    Winners

Ravens are looking like they're ready to win their third Super Bowl after beating the 49ers.

Texans finally beat the Patriots and get word that J.J. Watt might be healthy for the playoffs.

Mitch Trubisky has a good game (!) but it was against a terrible Lions team that also lost to the Redskins last week. He'd better enjoy it while he can because the Bears look like they're going to lose at least 3 of their next 4 games.

    Losers

    Eagles LOL

Cowboys lose badly to the Bills, self-destructing in every facet of the game, and remain winless against teams with a winning record this season. Jason Garrett's back in the hot seat again...

Patriots wish they had more NFC East cupcakes to feast on after losing to the Texans and surrendering the #1 seed in the conference to a team that beat their butts a few weeks ago. Next up, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Jets after all the hype in the media about them being one of the hottest teams in the league they get obliterated by the winless Bengals.

    Other

Big game in the NFC tonight between Seahawks (9-2) and Vikings (8-3). If the 'Hawks win they take over the NFC West lead and the Saints become the #1 seed in the NFC. Next week the Saints play the Niners in the Big Easy.

Redskins fans finally have something to cheer about as GM Bruce Allen's long overdue firing appears imminent. Now, if they could only get rid of owner Daniel Snyder...

    Yup.

Ravens passed Pats as SB Faves...
