"Warning shots" will get you imprisoned for assault with a deadly weapon.

You will be culturally enriched in jail for the rest of your days.

I have always lived in the city where you are at the mercy of the power and water companies. Lived through a couple major earthquakes too. That’s why when I decided to move out to the country I made sure that I could control my own water and power systems. Now I do.

Most of the Forrest’s that have been mismanaged are on federal land. Trump ought to hire someone as secretary of the interior that is not a corporate gross polluter but one who knows and cares about these matters.

If the situation arises where I feel my life and property are being threatened, I will take my chances. A 15 year old kid just blasted a couple home invaders up here this year and received accolades.

Big difference between defending yourself in your home from home invaders and picking off people at a fence.

Then again, we all know Cali doesn't play well with the Feds, right.. I think that state has made it's own bed in relation to Federal Cooperation and funding. If California citizens need deforestation and grooming in order to protect their homes then it might be time to vote differently OR get their undocumented up on the hills with rakes, I understand they are quiet proficient in the use of such tools!

Very nice, but I got mine from the guy I bought the property from and it works great. He was 95 and his wife was 94 when they sold me the dream house they built for themselves in 1970. Their idiot kids just wanted the $$$$$. I am blessed to have this place and hopefully it will always stay in the family. It’s heaven on earth in my book.

I’m sure there are all kinds of political ploys in play. However I would prefer a guy with some background in forestry and land management as head of the Department of the Interior than the standard corporate lackey like we have now and in almost any GOP administration. James Watt comes to mind.

Need more and wider fire breaks, and if there is ever a wet year again, controlled burns to take out the brush.

Ya the **** will happen with my Mothers place in Morgan Hill. The two sibs living there are all about the money "Understandable" but my sis and I would rather pay the prop tax on it, let my lil Brother live in it and just use it for flop house on vacations.. But I doubt that's gonna happen.

We need a secretary of interior who is not a corporate whore like we have now. Maybe someone with a background and education in forestry management. Ya think?

Rather see a smart smoke jumper experienced outdoorsperson run the show. Education has them in the hole they are now in.

Nice place. Oak trees with grazing grass. Perfect weather, mesquite, and deer running around....Hope you get it and are able to build your own little piece of paradise. Wineries are sprouting up around there too.

ROFL! I grew up in NorCal. I currently have family and friends all over Facebook tweaked that they have no power right now and that it could last through the weekend and then happen again.

California has went full on 3rd World. We can't even get electricity anymore, because the wind is blowing. Here's a thought, put those cables under ground? Or clear out the areas near the power lines? This never happened when I grew up. What a **** show.

    Let's review:

    • Needles in the Streets
    • Human Waste in the Streets
    • Tent Cities all over the place
    • No Electricity
    • Price of gas... astronomical
    • Congestion
    • Illegal Aliens have Sanctuary, even those committing felonies on our soil
    • Democratic Party Super Majority and All Statewide Office Holders
What could be causing all of this?

Wait until the last nuclear plant in California is closed in 2024. The fossil fuel emissions are going through the roof like they did in SoCal when they closed San Onofre.

Anyone who cares more about the land than politics would be a step in the right direction.

I used to spend Summers at my Dad's ranch in Gilroy and go to Morgan Hill if we wanted to see a movie. I would spend time clearing fields, bird hunting with shotguns, and picking rocks out of tires on weekends at Sears Point and Laguna Seca.

I like Wyoming, I like California but only the month visit is enough for me.. When my Mom passes "God Forbid" I most likely will never go there again :(

Besides you put my ass in 90 degree weather now and I pant like a California rabbit in July and August ;)

Yo AR, SCE says they may be cutting power down here the next couple of days.

They said on the radio more info at the SCE website.

I went there and the "emergency power" page is down.

I think so. My oldest sister lived there and went to Gilroy High School.

Did you get some Garlic fries?

The drive from San Jose to Santa Cruz is one of my favorites.

Kinda like former California Governor Jerry Brown sister Kathleen Brown who has no knowledge of drilling for and distributing natural gas to its customers but sits on the board of directors of Sempra Energy who are the owners of Southern California Gas Co.

Must be a Democrat thing sitting on the board of directors when you know nothing about drilling, pipelines and natural gas.

Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden also knows jack **** about natural gas, drilling and pipelines but was paid $50,000 per month to sit on the Burisma Holdings, a major Ukrainian natural gas producer.

But we know what that was all about. So the Ukraine government would have a secret backdoor access to President Obama through Hunter Biden's father, Vice President Joe Biden so they didn't have to use a phone that the CIA or NSA would be listening to.
