I stumbled onto Olympic Ping Pong this past monday night because it was on MSNBC at the 5 pm time slot { Hardball }.So I got to watch the men's Semi's Monday night and the Woman's last night.And yes,the Chineese are dominating Big Time again.I saw the Chineese Woman's champ last night and I was bowled over. I have a Ping Pong table in my basement { haven't used in years } and I kinda beat eveyone that played me except one individual.Having learned at my High School on thick hard tables with solid wood nets. China's Top woman { Ding Ning } is just flat out unbelievable.She did stuff I never dreamed possible as far as defensive playing. This year it will be China vs. China because they SO Dominate the sport. Why is that.? Is there any rational explanation for China's domination since the late 1950's. Winning more than 100 Individual or Team Titles in the last 49 years. Any theories.
kind like we are dominate in basketball? its simple chinese pupil play table tennis since very young, every school has some table tennis table, and alot chinese like it. its a national sport for them, so alot people play means alot talent to choose from.
Makes sense.It is not just encouraged but it's like a language with the Chineese.Like how every red-blooded american kid grows up with either a Baseball or a Basketball. The more a Society is inundated with a huge number playing the more chance they'll have at exceling. Therefore if America takes up Lying as a pasttime they'll be as good as Russia before long.
