If you could bet the Republicans from hiring them we'd be okay.

Chances are if you are white your family had their lives improved by FDR and that makes you an ingrate.

A helluva thing what cons have forgotten..Or are utterly ignorant of.

My grandparents moved from share croppers to owning their own farm thanks to FDR. So stuff it.

I've only labored with cast iron and steel pitchforks. A good cast iron 18-prong cleanup fork goes for a hundred bucks today. Steel 4 and 5-prongers are a lot cheaper. Do the new plastic ones hold up to use, are they any lighter?

The problem is clear. We no longer have a party of the people. The DP stopped being the party of FDR.

The links went to Cuomo asking for 61 billion dollars from Congress or he would have to cut.

If using Windows, have an administrator underneath your regular user account.

Before FDR my ancestors could not get loans to buy their own land. The New Deal made that possible. They went from being share cropper poor to middle class farmers by the mid 50s.

As many did in my area. When he died the wailing was heard all over this nation. I grew up with these stories.

You can copy the link, open a new browser tab, and insert the address with very little risk of any malware problems. In situations like that, I usually use a different browser altogether. And if you ever think you've gotten 'stung', you can run the free versions of Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. Follow that up with by running the free version of CCleaner and you should be fine.

But, yeah, you're right -- in general, never click on a link from within something like an email or even a post if you suspect anything.

Hint -- the very best accumulation of system maintenance and protection tools I know of is to be found in abundance at bleepingcomputer.com . I'm an old guy, who's been working with computers since 1969.... :oldman:

They don't flock there for good jobs. I lived their once and they had more working poor than we had in Ms at that time. Its mostly a low wage tourist economy. Then you had the snow birds escaping winters in the northern US.

You prefer the hyperliberal 'woke' cadres at the New York Times...?

The best newspaper published in the U. S. in 2020 is The Wall Street Journal. The best periodical published in the world today is The Economist (of Great Britain). But the NYT...? Honestly, brutha, it's so slanted, biased, and untrustworthy today that I wouldn't read it if it were free....

Your family furthered themselves on the backs of blacks and you are proud of that? Interesting. Now I know why you are a Democrat.

My "white family" was native American "injuns" and Scot/Irish farmers in Kansas. My grand parents lived in a soddie in Kansas until they moved to Denver in the mid forties. It's pathetic how you could make such an ignorant assumption about another person's family based on the disgusting behavior of your Democrat ancestors. I guess you were for the oppression of blacks. That's a disgustingly racist point of view. FDR was a rabid racist. He was a horrible human being. Of course he was a Democrat also. He had a Democrat racist political point of view.

Why FDR Didn’t Support Eleanor Roosevelt’s Anti-Lynching Campaign
President Franklin D. Roosevelt feared losing Southern support for his New Deal legislation.

"In December 2018, the U.S. Senate passed a federal anti-lynching bill for the first time. The significant milestone is preceded by at least 240 failed attempts since 1901 to pass any bill or resolution mentioning lynching in Congress. These attempts to outlaw lynching peaked during Franklin D. Roosevelt’s presidency. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was a strong supporter of anti-lynching legislation, but FDR never supported it for fear of alienating white Democratic voters in the south."

“If I come out for the anti-lynching bill now, [southern Democrats] will block every bill I ask Congress to pass to keep America from collapsing. I just can’t take the risk.”

Even OAC is more informed than you. That's sad.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez blasts former presidents FDR, Reagan during SXSW panel
Ocasio-Cortez also blasted FDR's "New Deal" which created several programs and projects aimed at helping the U.S. recover from the Great Depression.

FDR orders Japanese-Americans to be interned in camps, Feb. 19, 1942
On this day in 1942, 10 weeks after a Japanese carrier force bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed an executive order that led to the forced removal of some 112,000 Japanese-Americans, most of them U.S. citizens, from their homes, to be relocated in internment camps in remote locations away far from the West Coast.

Of 127,000 Japanese-Americans living in the continental United States at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack, 112,000 resided on the West Coast. About 80,000 were second-generation, U.S.-born Japanese who held U.S. citizenship or third-generation children. The rest were first-generation immigrants born in Japan who were ineligible for U.S. citizenship at the time under U.S. law.

For the next 2 1/2 years, many of these Japanese-Americans endured difficult living conditions and poor treatment by their military guards.

Using cortez is crazy...given she is a nutcase.

That you don't understand what the US was in the FDR era is simple ignorance..

You think either party would have stopped the way blacks were treated?

FDR was a product of that era. What you think should have been done was impossible.

He could not have changed what you rail on about. That is reality. He is credited with making many lives better. Sure it was white lives, working people.

No one has done as much since FDR.

You are still an ingrate if you cannot understand how he helped most working Americans. Read some positive FDR history. Instead of only negative.

If you think any president has been perfect you are too naive.

Oh please, please, please I hope they do raid the Obamas. Pelosi and Biden too :D

Not only does appeasement not work, it emboldens them. It's the same reason you're generally not supposed to negotiate with terrorists or kidnappers either.

Which is what the MSM counts on and has conditioned their followers for ---- headline reading only.

I am proud that my ancestors owned slaves? Stop pulling stuff out of your arse. I have never said that BS!

On what this nation did to Japanese Americans it was terrible but understandable. The reason non helped Japan is because they could not because they were moved from our west coast. Duh!

You forget that we didn't know if we would win ww2 ! We were at risk. And it was an intelligent move. The USSC ruled it was legal.

If we had not done that and lost the war you would have hated him for leaving us open to espionage of our war industry. And be speaking Japanese today.

Most GOP folks hate FDR and you are one of them. Hope you send your social security checks back but of course you won't!

They never howled about global warming when they threw firebombs that set buildings and cars on fire. Greta was no where to be found.

Yep . . . and social distancing Covid-19 wasn't spoken about in hysterical terms at all during the endless protesting and violent rioting events. It's as if ALL Dem Party political concerns and issues are totally . . . situational.

So every person in america could be rich if only they put forth the effort? You believe that. But what worker would they use to create their wealth. No workers if all were rich.

    You are delusional.

So naive. If not for workers Gates would not be rich nor anyone else!

The rich don't exist without worker's labor.
