Planned parenthood leaves title x family programs because of abortion rule

It appears that Trump has fulfilled another promise. I’m sure planned parenthood is just tickled “pink” about walking away from 300 million dollars of free taxpayer money.

I’m curious to see how this pans out. For years PP has stated that abortions are only 3 percent of their services, yet they are willing to walk away from around 300 million dollars annually just so that they can continue providing abortions.
They say that they are all about providing affordable women’s “health care” but yet they are giving up the subsidies that allow them to make women’s “health car” affordable just so they can keep doing abortions.
A bit of a conundrum.

 

This seems like a foolish move on Planned Parenthood's part, if abortions are truly only such a tiny percentage of the services they provide. This sounds more like political grandstanding, rather than caring about women.

 

The anti-abortion nuts want to ban not just clinical abortion, but ANY "abortion" they define it which are NOT abortion, like ANY hormonal contraception (the traditional pill), the IUD, the morning after pill, and even the MENTION any of these options. Not to mention things mention of things like the vaccine that would help prevent HPV that can turn into cancer in the cervical cancer because being afraid to die of cancer will deter sex by girls!

These people do not want to promote life, just fear

 

or they are making a hell of a lot more money on abortions then they are admitting to, which we’ve known for years.

 

Certainly nothing has ever stopped them from setting a separate organization to perform abortions.

 

And total fabrications are all you have?

None of you seem to care what happens once the child is actually alive.

The reality is abortion is the steak and potatoes of Planned Parenthood's business.

Most of the reason for providing those other services is just a public relations strategy, trying to cultivate the image that they are about "women's health".

It will be interesting to see if they still choose to provide all those other "services" when the taxpayers are no longer funding it.

I imagine that what's going to happen is many Blue states are going to step up to the plate and start providing the money that the federal government is no longer giving.
Red states also spend this money, but they give it to other organizations like Pregnancy Crisis Centers.

They weren't. There's a law against it and PP has NEVER been found tpo violate it.

ALL taxpayer's will be stepping up to the plate to pay for all those unwanted welfare kids....it's the poor that PP helps the most WHICH IS WHY REPUBS HATE IT SO MUCH.

 

Yea, that’s why my wife and I have adopted 5 children so far through our pro life ministry work. Because we don’t care about them after they are born...

So, if PP stops taking federal money, it should have absolutely no impact on abortions, hence no increase in “unwanted welfare kids” (your words not mine)

 

Their actions TODAY are proof.
PP constantly talks about all the women’s health care that they provide, and how much affordable health care they give to the poor.
With the drop of a hat, they’ve now abandoned all the 100s of millions of dollars they receive from the govt. to provide that affordable women’s health care just so they can provide abortions.
Obviously aborting unborn children is either more fun, more important, or more lucrative than receiving 100’s of MILLIONS of DOLLARS from the US govt.
My guess is that it’s more lucrative (meat and potatoes)

 

Hopefully now, trump will go after their 501c3 and make them pay taxes on their billion dollar baby killing industry!

 

The new Democratic admin in 2021 will get rid of the rule.

 

In 2021 trump will take away their 501c3 and they will go bankrupt.

This is only confusing to the left because they see the results of their choices as other people's responsibility.

Just because you're not allowed to kill a child doesn't mean you're not responsible for the child when it's born, as it's parent.

The left just wants to be absolved of that responsibility.
