    In the cases it did happen insane decisions by people who felt sorry for the criminal's family.

    You conveniently forgot that such people's rights shall not be infringed.

    Along with those rifles, they should also have ready access to bazookas, machines guns, Sherman tanks, Apache helicopters, C-130 planes, and other accoutrements of peace in order to control the government.

    Let's have all the forum right wingers who claim to be such principled "conservatives" applaud.

    This is not infringement as it doesn't bar you from carrying rifles at all. Even if it is, the law is the law. While I disagree with the NFA and Florida's prohibition of open carry in public places, I still follow the law do my part to change the law.

    I'm down with that. I've always said that that we should have access to the same weapons the average soldier without special clearance has access to.

    The cases where the police weren't justified are a tiny minority, 99% of police killings are wholly correct.

    the photos I included above do not show those good citizens pointing guns in a threatening manner
    - they deserve access to high powered machines guns, cannons, tanks, jet bombers, and other weapons to protect themselves from abusive government
    - as a conservative you should be applauding
    - so let's see you demonstrate integrity by applauding the TRUTH

    The photos included by yourself document the crime of brandishing a firearm in public. Whether or not they were physically pointed at another does not change this fact. The law of the united states is quite clear, and the act was illegal.

    Horsesh1t. Had it been illegal the bigoted cops would have arrested them. What they did was perfectly legal and demonstrates the USA's best defense against government tyranny. My only disagreement is that they did not display high powered machine guns, tanks, and other instruments of peace. But at least it proves that right wingers aren't principled enough to defend their rights.

    Had these so-called "protestors" shown up with handguns holstered, and rifles and shotguns slung rather than being held in their hands, it would not be an issue. But they did not do such.

    A significant portion of the photos in the above link show the firearms slung, or otherwise in an at-rest positioning.

    There is a significant difference between the content of the photos in the above link, and the photos initially presented. The difference has absolutely nothing to do with skin color, but rather conduct.
