No one has placed Oswald on the sixth floor at the time of the shooting. He tested negative for gunpowder residue by the police the day he was arrested, which was the day of the shooting. Oswald's so called assassin's rifle was not recovered on the sixth floor when police first
got up there. Instead they found a Mauser 7.56.
There is no evidence he fired a shot at anyone.

The rifle may have been misnamed in initial reports but everything else is accurate

The Warren Commission would certainly like to give that impression. Officer Roger Craig who was there among the first to form a search party tells a different story however.
It's pretty hard to misidentify the make of a rifle that has it's name stamped right into the gun barrel, as he points out, and all officers present agreed that a Mauser 7.65 was the weapon they had found. Not the clunky unscoped Manlicher-Carcano called the "humane weapon" by Italian soldiers that used it because it rarely hit anything it was pointed at.

So he scored sharpshooter and later marksman. I was wrong about not barely making marksman but he still had the skill to do it.

    Wrong.

Several witnesses placed him on the sixth floor.

The test for residue was unreliable and evidence of nothing which was known and proven before the assassination.

They found his rifle they did not find a Mauser.

There is overwhelming evidence that he shot Kennedy and you are simply denying fact

The Manlicher-Carcabno was not called the humane weapon b y anyone except Oliver Stone who dreamed it up

It was in fact quite an accurate rifle at distances less than 200 yards.

Roger Craig was a late comer to the search of the sixth floor an the other merely mistook the rifle for a mauser which is in fact very similar in appearence to the carcano.

    This is all proven fact

If you don't score high enough for Marksman you're so bad you may be kicked out of the Corps.

He was the WORST possible marksman allowed in the Marines

Correct. The idea that a terrible marksman could make a difficult shot that other expert shots haven't been able to match in repeated experiments is ridiculous! It's as stupid as the "magic bullet" itself.

He did qualify as Marksman and no he was not the worst possible when he scored sharpshooter. His marksman score was attained shortly before being discharged which is easily attributed to the fact that he was intending to leave the corp anyways and simply did not make an effort.

Another fact always over looked is that the Marines have always had the BEST basic rifle marksmanship training program in the military. Even a piss poor marine shooter is better than the average civilian.

Despite the denials he had more than enough skill to make the shot in Dealey.

With weeks of training in boot camp he barely managed Sharpshooter (the middle rank). A couple years later he barely qualified at all.

He was a TERRIBLE shot...using an AWFUL weapon

And professional shooters have tried to duplicate this feat and failed over and over

The fact that he qualified as sharpshooter in the Marines even one time float out proves you wrong.

One more time understand this fact the Marines have always had the BEST basic rifle marksmanship training program in the military. Even BARELY qualifying as a marksman ( the lowest rank ) in the Marine Corps proves you are a better shot than most people. He did better than that and only barely made marksman close to his discharge when it did not matter.

He was in fact a good shot. His record proves that fact true and you wrong.

The weapon was awful but still a deadly weapon and was adequate to the task he used it for.

Yes and most professional or even average shooters who have tried have in fact succeeded in making the same shots or doing better. Contrary to myth the experts and non experts alike who have duplicated his shooting have proven it was in fact easy to do for a trained marksman of Oswald's caliber.

The idea the he was a terrible marksman is a proven lie.

The idea that other experts have not been able to match or exceed his performance in experiment after experiment is a lie.

Many have been able to match or exceed his performance and not all were experts/

The magic bullet is a lie created by conspiracy theorists.

Now YOU are lying, His RECORD shows how bad he was.

Please show who recreated these shots. You won't. You never do.

A hammer is a deadly weapon...but a pretty bad assassination tool. So was the Carcano

Let's also notate that the Manlicher-Carcano rifle, "the humane weapon", that Oswald supposedly used to shoot the president
did not have a scope on it, making a difficult shot, that expert shooters could not make under controlled conditions, a near impossible shot!
FBI agents had to fashion metal shims in order to mount a scope on the rifle for testing.

You were correct up until the “magic bullet”. The moniker may have been added by those who think the WC is s WW but Arlen Specter is the person who endorsed the idea that one bullet caused 4 entry wounds, 3 exit wounds, traveled uphill at one point and was found in relatively good shape afterword. I don’t discount that one bullet can hit multiple things. I do discount how one bullet can seem to only hit skin and go uphill at one point.

It did have a scope. From the National Archives:

Not to mention smash through bone matter with
absolutely minimal damage to the bullet! It's not possible and defies all the laws of physics.

The scope was not affixed to the rifle however and FBI agents had to manufacture specials shims
in order to test fire it. If Oswald fired the rifle at Kennedy (that's IF) he fired it without the scope mounted on and made a very difficult shot
even more impossible for him to make.

And your proof that the scope was not attached is what exactly?

My mistake. The scope was attached but badly misaligned and had to be corrected with shims before the FBI could even test fire the weapon. https://kennedysandking.com/john-f-kennedy-articles/the-fbi-s-fib-about-the-mannlicher-carcano

The main point remains: Lee Harvey Oswald, a poor marksman at very best, had to not only fire a junk weapon precisely in a brief period of time but making his shot even more difficult was the fact that he was handicapped by the lack of a well functioning scope.

It had a scope (side mounted and misaligned). He could have fired over open sights but he would have had to ignore the side mounted misaligned scope. Why have it on there if he's not going to use it...

But nope.experts more often could not make thee shots under highly controlled circumstances

Yes. You are right and I have since corrected my error. The scope was misaligned and had to be corrected before FBI agent Frazier could even test it.
How did Oswald ever sight a target through it? My guess is he didn't and he never fired a shot at the president.

Correct. Not even crack marksmen could do what the Warren Commission alleges Oswald did.

Yes I have several times and you are out right lying.

The Warren Commission had several experts and a non expert recreate them.

His record does not show how bad he was it shows her was in fact a good shot and you are STUPIDLY lying to try and claim the opposite.

A sharpshooter or even marksman in the marines is by definition a good shot compared to most people and you have proven he was a good shot.

Your lie about that fact is truly idiotic.
