https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrew...ers-with-business-media-figures/#6d14c4103a39 hmm...so now we know why Pompeo got Trump to fire the State Department IG. Looks like Pompeo was using taxpayer funds and State Dept personnel and property to hold dinners for American business donors for possible political funding. 24 dinners were held on State Dept property, all paid for with tax dollars. None of the business guests had anything to do with foreign policy. The State Dept. IG found out about this and was investigating. And then Pompeo urged Trump to fire him...and Trump did so. hmm.....drain the swamp huh?
The level of criminality we find in the Trump regime is boundless. We can't even say "the worst in history". It's simply not even comparable to our History. Let's put it this way: if we were to look at some banana Republican at a time in which "revolutions" were measured in RPM, Trump would fit in nicely
I miss fiscal conservatives, seems they were lying then for political points and should be ignored in the future as they don’t actually care about spending or fraud — only if the “other side” does it. Every American should condemn this but instead it will just be excuses if it isn’t just outright ignored
That's not why the State Department IG was fired. He was fired for interferring with the sales of arms to our ally, Saudi Arabia. The sale was a negotiated agreement until Dem led congress decided to block it.
And they were doing it to protect American jobs, something this administration only gives lip service to. Ahead of the vote Monday, Menendez, D-N.J., said the U.S.-Saudi co-production agreements in the larger deal would transfer jobs and sensitive military technology to Saudi Arabia. With the sale, the U.S. would green light plans by Raytheon to shift manufacturing of a part of the guidance system for the PGMs to the Saudis. Calling the deal “a Saudi jobs program,” and “madness,” Menendez said State Department officials have indicated privately that this would the first in a series, allowing the Saudis to manufacture larger, more sensitive portions of the weapons. He argued the work, “should be done by American workers in the United States.” https://www.defensenews.com/congres...ales-to-saudi-arabia-sustaining-trump-vetoes/
