I haven't ready the study but it seems like it found that as long as students and staff wear masks, it doesn't matter if they are 6ft or 3ft from each other; Covid-19 spread is low and not worse with the 3ft. Seems like the masks are the determining factor as reportedly another study found that schools that practice masks have a lower transmission rate than surrounding communities - again making the point I've made sometimes, that school teachers wary of returning to in-person would be going to work in an environment that is... safer than where they otherwise live and play.

I'm for reopening the schools, with precautions.

Florida and a few other jurisdictions have been open for months without any such silly rules, and somehow the world is still turning.

Sounds like Fauci Psychobabble to me.

Yes, the world in Fla is still turning , but unfortunately it's turning for thousands while they are 6 ft under or while they are in urns. The larger cities are affected for the most part.

    nonsense

why don't you check out the number of deaths and understand that we have almost 22 million residents, and now, a whole bunch of Democrat voters down here from the north enjoying what they don't get in their Democrat states; liberty.

Yep. I live in a half R, half D state. The R's are here living off the gov just as much as the D's and making money hand over fist at the same time. They have expensive houses (er...mansions) and other
properties on the lakes but pay very little property taxes because they know who to bribe. I'm not jealous....just resentful.
