Of course! It's human nature to get something for nothing; just that some people understand the value of supporting the union since it benefits them long-term. The freeloaders are just greedy and in some cases anti-union.

I never said they would, but everyone can make it to the upper middle class.

So Government workers with their union have to be convicted of a crime to get fired?

Who at the IRS was fired for the targeting scandal? Who at the MMS was fired for not doing their job inspecting the Deep Water Horizon resulting in the worst oil spill in US history? Who at the EPA was fired over the toxic waste spill at the Standard Mine?

Give me the answers to the above 3 questions and we'll talk.

No, of course not. Do you even know what "due process" is?

No try re-reading the post again.

Sorry but it's not my job to know who is and who isn't terminated from their employment. Provide some actual case numbers and we'll discuss it.

No need to until you answer my questions; then we'll talk.

Due process is a Constitutional term that has 0 to do with employment. Unless EEO laws are violated.

Me? Any protections in the work place stem from the States Labor Board and the US Dept of Labor. NOT the Due process Clause in the Constitution.

BTW Good luck getting the Union to spend the money to defend you if the company really wants you gone. You will be told you need to exhaust all of your State and Federal remedies first....it could take years. They they may or may not sue for you, after all where are they going to get the money from? They need it for their own salaries and political donations. The Union executives salary? Unfortunately in the public sector, the moron politicians signing the contracts get huge donations from the public service unions. That will fix itself as the penion funds crash and burn.

Not true; the terms and conditions of the labor contract spell out what the process is for proposed termination of an employee. That's why you have binding arbitration .

As for politicians signing contracts, if the American people don't like that, they can always change it; good luck in getting that done. Btw, my pension fund has never "crashed and burned"; in fact, it is over funded.

No, that's why we shouldn't have public service unions.
