All over the world there is this problem. think of a powerful business woman shrugging away a lower level company employee, just 'to look cool?' this is what it is all about, being like a cat, or becoming apathetic and aloof is supposed to be cool. this stems from rebellion, and, is 'anti love.' think of it as a mental attitude that destroys innocence and love of fellow man?

Where does this sort of thing come from? well, somewhere, sometime, somebody ignored an idiot or something, and did not acknowledge them, and some people saw this and through it was 'cool.' that would mean that they basically did not lose composure from excitement and instead acted like it happened all the time - think of a famous person walking the red carpet, they would be distant to the fans and wave to them casually. thing is, inside, as we all do, they are so excited! believe me...

So, now we get to 'political posturing.' this would be a alpha male thing, like north korea, not engaging in dialogue, they would 'flex their muscles' and hope for the best, yes? this would fully scare away their enemies. if we were to think of russia, they would posture with internet trolls and military too, trying to 'act cool,' yes?

Now, the real reason for this topic - militants. the militants all come from youngish men, as they find the way the militants stride around with their guns and preach for allah to be very cool! the only reason they support these militants and join them is because they want to rebel, like some kid in the west shouting at an older person to get out their way, disrupting the company meeting with a joke, or even dressing in a non conformist trend.

All walks of life have some within them that posture, and, this is often not good. hell, think of a model on the runway - they must look aloof professionally!

So, if you want to posture, as everyone does, remember it is addictive and habit forming, and, makes you less of a person in the eyes of many, but more of a person on impressionable people.

Why would you assume that the stated business woman would shrug off an underling for the purpose of being "cool". It's much more likely that the underling is less informed, or whatever of a thousand other reasons.

Why should any "idiot" have anything taken serious?

Getting to political posturing, as you example through N. Korea.

    Perfect example of an Idiot.

The problem with not taking idiots who head nations serious, is the serious implications/ possible ramifications with not doing so.... So, in this example, the idiot must be given attention.... Attention mind you, just not respect.

I'm not too sure your analogy regarding militants, is entirely on point.

Ideological idiocy too, must be taken serious, just as the idiocy of a national leader.... Particularly regarding terrorists.

My point was that every male postures to impress people with an image of someone that is aloof and in control without being passionate.

If you look at your kids, and you see them playing wearing bandanas and masks, with toy guns, maybe you will understand them trying to display strength in their alpha male mentality?

Every human postures, for varying reasons.....The gender is irrelevant.
