He was smart to come out pro women as women become the most educated gender with the brightest future.
It also protects him if sanders/Biden/Bloomberg mess up... they were just old men after all. Heck it even covers Buttigieg who while not old is still a man.
However Bernie will tear his legacy down from the left while trump is doing it from the right unless Bernie sells out because Obama was a centrist
