The Washington Post fact-checkers have documented every single lie that Pres. Trump has said since taking the oath of office.

This is quite obviously an ongoing current event as the article was published TODAY: furthermoe, since today is precisely the 998th day of the Trump presidency and in exactly three days, we will reach the 1,000 day mark. This means that Trump's lies of the last 4-5 days have not yet been inputted into the database. This is a positive thing - it means that WAPO truly checks everything more than once, acribically, before reporting it.

I will be updating this thread every single day for a long time to come, as this current event will remain current as long as presidential lies, and I mean, factually verifiable lies, continue to happen. Until now, we have seen no evidence whatsoever that those lies, either in their intensity, their brazenness or in their sheer numbers, are abating.

I think that the lies are not seen as lies by his base. They live in the same mindset. As long as Trump bashes others, it does not matter if lies are used or not. The purpose is to make the other guy seem bad.

Don't forget that one of the pillars of conservatives is to bash others, especially liberals. It is not like they have much else.

You are supporting him by attacking your fellow American. You must also admire him to emulate him as you do. Its sad that he is an accurate reflection of the average American and your post is an example of that.

 

If a person screams that the moon is flat and square, it is not hysteria to call an obvious lie a lie. It's people who know how to fact-check doing their jobs.

Trump claimed already on the 1st full day of his presidency that the crowd for his inauguration was the largest in history. And yet, air-footage from numerous and independent-from-each-other sources immediately proved his claim to be false. Had he simply shut his mouth about it, we would have forgotten about it and said to ourselves that he was merely exaggerating, but no, he went and claimed this bullshit over and over and over again and sent Sean Spicer (who obviously knew better) to go in front of reporters and mouth the same bald-faced, brazen lie.

And compared to a lot of the **** he said, this lie FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY OF HIS ****ING PRESIDENCY is a little white lie.

Either his supporters can continue to support this crap come what may, or they can salvage a small bit of their pride and sense of decency and admit that circa 13,000 LIES is a lot of LIES.

It's really that simple.
