Being a president is difficult. But denying that covid is a problem when everyone else is taking it serious is an 'F' grade in my opinion. Running a trillion dollar deficit during a good economy is an 'F' grade too.
I don't care if Biden makes "Weekend at Bernie's" look like an Olympic Sprinter. Just WIN, Baby! And, Nobody is going to get the last laugh until they call it on Election Night. Though, I must admit, the apparent "confidence" of Trump Supporters is very surprising. Trump's Ceiling in Each of the Big 3 Swing states is barely 48%. How do they expect him to Win in a 2-person race? Just saying.
just make sure Trump does NOT make a speech from an aircraft carrier about “Mission Accomplished” until AFTER we get our $1200 in cash actually in our pockets
Trump is still selling 'you' snake oil. Look at the graphs and see how the USA compares with other countries, particularly with testing. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-03-26/coronavirus-covid19-global-spread-data-explained/12089028
Exactly. Trump has handled the Entire Virus Situation Horribly. It is Pretty Scary how some people are still buying it.
He isn't denying the problem, he's facing in squarely. The HOUSE holds the nation's purse strings, take it up with Nancy The Ripper. Americans Facing the Abyss Without Fear
The sure way to not get reelected is to promise the base of supporters a $1200 check and announce a bipartisan deal has been reached , then. 24 hrs later belly ache about $600 / week that you had accepted in that deal
Not according to Wiki... Although rumor has it Trump was considering somebody from the Army to replace her... Somebody named Colonel Sanders
The impeachment thingy didn't work out for the Dems and now they try to attack Trump during this crisis so how is that working out?
Trump hasn't handled the virus outbreak all that well, for the first time he's acting presidential, but not in any spectacular way. Travel bans came two months too late. Had bans been initiated in January worldwide, those who test positive would be down by the thousands, especially since it would be before Europe because the global epicenter of the pandemic. Trump let his guard down on that front, leading to an infected US coast to coast. A strong president would've halted travel two months ago altogether via executive order. Both the CDC and the WHO waited way too late to declare this thing a pandemic. Second is the fact Trump is simply fluffing up the reality of the situation in his press conferences. The reality is much more dire than the mere optimism coming out of these conferences. Chloroquine is a "hopeful" med, and we still haven't tested nearly as many people as we should have. You listen to state governors and the medical community, you get an entirely fresh and more realistic view of the situation on the ground. So, where this 22% approval Gallup is reporting is coming from I'm willing to bet is omitting one of the above factors if not both.
Are counting Crazy Uncle Joe as a candidate? He can barely stand in front of a camera, and then, of course, there are those pesky Bernie bros.
Of course millions of newly unemployed are Trumps fault ! Who does Trump want to blame ? Pence ? The pandemic team he disbanded. The CDC person he removed ? If Trump had provided Leadership when the Virus was identified in 2019 he should have put in place the infrastructure to combat it Instead he just dismissed the Threat that we now have a Financial crisis The Trump Virus and Trump Recession is on Trump Dr. Linda Quick, was a trainer of Chinese field epidemiologists who were deployed to the epicenter of outbreaks to help track, investigate and contain diseases. As an American CDC employee, they said, Quick was in an ideal position to be the eyes and ears on the ground for the United States and other countries on the coronavirus outbreak, and might have alerted them to the growing threat weeks earlier.
