So, the claim is that this enormously complex intractable situation that the smartest people in the world haven't been able to solve was overnight solved by a person who's entire strategy for a negotiation involving the budget of the entire US government was to hand out candy bars. And, because I don't take that claim on pure unadulterated faith with zero explanation or evidence, I'm somehow being intellectually dishonest?

Lesson 1: The economy is good, but it doesn't become good just "out of the blue" Presidents have to "do stuff". Obama passed many bills. Trump has not passed a single bill to help the Economy. Not one.

Lesson 2: The Economy is good. The tendency to become good started with Obama. The tendency has not improved under Trump. As a matter of fact, it has hit a bit of a slump.

In a sustainable way, yes. A President can affect it negatively without passing a bill. But they cannot make sustainable improvements without one. Even with a bill sometimes they are not sustainable if they are not intelligent. And Trump certainly is not The only relevant piece of legislation that Trump has passed was the tax breaks for the rich. It created a small temporary bump in the economy that has already pretty much wound down.

As for your list, we already know that Trump has a habit of taking credit for his predecessors' accomplishments. The other day he even tried to take credit for coming up with the idea for a 4th of July Parade in Washington DC, which has been going on for decades (over a century?). Sad thing is that he still has supporters who believe him.
