Please consider this: China ended it's spread. Did they repent to your god? Hell no. They used social distancing and isolation of those infected - which is the only tool we have today, other than attempting to care for those seriously affected.

 

Yep, just like the flu virus 'disappears' - every year. FYI there is only one virus in recorded history that has 'disappeared" and that's Small Pox. And it wasn't 'prayed away' it was eliminated via commitment, creativity, hard word and perseverance. In other words all the qualities God would expect us to bring to bare when dealing with a crisis.

While I dont believe wheedling god will stop this virus, there is evidence that prayer helps in health outcomes from those in the hospital with life threatening illnesses . I cant recall the name of the study that evidrnced this but you might find it online if inyerrsted .

The reason you can to find it is because it doesn’t exist. Now there is science that says prayer in hospitals actually correlates with worse outcomes but that is probably because people pray when the cases become more hopeless.

Anything china says is not to be trusted for accuracy. This comes from westerners who have lived there for a decade . They have expelled western journalists. No one there that can verify anything the CCP says.

There are many bureaucrats, scientists, educators and public officials in China who are abhorred by the treatment given to members of Falun Gong, Christians and other minorities and........ as China is broken out from under Atheistic Communism....... (something in many ways comparable to the Spanish Inquisition), those officials in China who want what is ethical, right and just.... will play an important role in freeing the people of China from the government that is over them now that functions much like the Nazi Party under Hitler.... or the Communist Party under Stalin.... or the Communist Party under Mao or the leadership of North Korea.

Also... there are many bureaucrats, scientists, educators and public officials in America, Canada and Europe who are really messed up and are on the wrong side in this conflict........... and it is a conflict that I do believe can be compared with the background to WWI or WWII!
