Even if the cop did not intend to kill before the arrest it seems clear to me that he intended to kill him while his knee was compressing Floyd's neck. It's first degree murder if at any point he intended to kill Floyd. The police who watched the incident had an affirmative duty to stop the killing. I expect them to be charged soon.

Yes, they are different people and groups.

Your denial reveals an ulterior motivatation in denying that truth.

    because this happened in Minnesota
lets look at thier law because it varies by state

    Minnesota First-Degree Murder
    https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/609.185

    • A premeditated (considered, planned, or prepared for before the act) killing with the intent to kill the person
    • Killing someone while committing or attempting criminal sexual conduct in the first or second degree with violence (rape or sexual assault)
    • Killing someone with the intent to kill someone while committing or attempting burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, 1st or 2nd degree arson, a drive-by shooting, tampering with a witness (for example, killing the witness so he or she can’t testify), escaping from custody, or felony drug crimes
    • Killing a cop, prosecutor, judge, or correctional officer, with the intent to kill that person and while the person is engaging in his or her official duties
    • Killing a child during a child abuse incident, after having engaged in a pattern of child abuse on the child and the death occurs under circumstances that show an extreme indifference to human life
    • Killing someone while committing domestic abuse, after having engaged in a pattern of domestic abuse on the victim or other family or household members (such as current or former spouses, co-habitants, or dating/sexual partners) and, again, the death shows extreme indifference to human life
    • Causing anyone’s death while committing, conspiring, or attempting to commit a felony in furtherance of terrorism, that is to terrorize or intimidate the public and disrupt or interfere with the government or laws
but go ahead charge him with first degree try to convince a jury that cop woke up that morning and said to himself i plan to kill Floyd today
you will lose then all of you will cry that justice wasn't served

My only motivation is in stopping the riots, and that can only be done by accepting the truth they are one and the same.

People equate brutality with the degrees(largely due to the sentences enforced in there.) Some have made the argument that when Floyd was begging for his life and they still didn't release the restraint, that's when it became intentional.

    I'm fully convince it has nothing whatsoever to do with that incident. Democrats have dumped garbage in my yard, Democrats have dumped garbage in the engine compartment of our car, Democrats have pushed our car down the street into another person's mail box, Democrats after all that burned a cross in my yard, Democrats have lynched like they want to do that police officer because they can't wait for the legal system, Democrats have burned churches..., Democrats have pulled people out of their cars and beat them, Democrats have in my lifetime invoked the use of Insurrection Act of 1807 more than any other group. I firmly believe the problem is Democrats. {period}

which makes it 2nd degree and not manslaughter
manslaughter is reserved for unintentional murder

Conservatives and Republicans, with few exceptions believe that black Americans are responsible for all of the problems they face.
Here is the Limbaugh interview with The Breakfast Club where he admits that the cops should have been charged with first degree murder.

RL seems to mean well but the discussion was not very productive beyond a recognition of what actually happened to George Floyd.
    Disappointing.

Found this description of the most current activities.
Seem rather pathetic and irrelevant. They are down to attracting only 10 believers for their last PR stunt.

"On July 28, 2018, around 45 members of Identity Evropa, some dressed as construction workers, demonstrated outside the Mexican consulate in Manhattan, New York City, holding large letters that spelled out "Build the Wall".

"On February 9, 2019, eleven Identity Evropa members went to the University of Utah’s Block U carrying colored smoke flares and a banner that read, "End immigration!" Patrick Casey stated that the action was in response to the University's condemning of the organization earlier in the year, after it had posted stickers around the campus. Police were called, but the members left before they arrived.[64]"

"On April 27, 2019, hours after the Poway synagogue shooting, around ten members of Identity Evropa disrupted a book discussion event at the Politics and Prose bookstore at Washington D.C." Wiki

And yet, we have this foolish OP due entirely to their actions. There are serious questions to be answered about who is behind the violence, and the jingoism of Trump and Barr's "outside leftist agitators" ain't cutting it.

The DP clearly supports the riots, but I doubt that there are many ordinary American Democrats in these mobs.

Antifa has a large organization, it's the "far right wing" example that you gave that is lacking in membership and in mobilization. But then, we can't criticize far-left violent groups. They're special snowflake children.

"LOLibertarian/Pepsi conservative extremist/pajama boy organization" is an odd way to describe AntiFa, and the ACLU is not a "hard Pepsi conservative right" org unless the OP thinks they are Fascist organizations. But then how can Fascism be described as "libertarian"?

Ultimate reality politics always comes down to the Big Government factions Vs. Small Limited Government movements. The differences between the Big Government factions in America, as opposed to Europe, involve for the most part political theater and fundraising.

In Europe differences between Big Government factions often result in open warfare. IOW, serious fund raising.

AntiFa is only significant because it operates with the support of local governments including the police, judges and prosecutors.

No argument there. But the protestors and the rioters are two separate groups of people. I'm saying not to lump the peaceful protestors in with the violent animal rioters.

The call for retributive justice - such as eye for eye - tooth for tooth - may be a good idea. This could be accomplished by hanging the 4 cops involved in the Floyd murder - while they beg for their lives.

What might be better is if rather than just go after the cops that were present - to also go after those that facilitated police criminality - such as the Police Chief . Having his house burn down would be nothing in comparison to slow strangulation while he pleads for his life.

    I like your plan !

I agree with that, but when the first rock is thrown or violence starts the peaceful protesters need to turn on the rioters or leave the riot zone immediately.
