The House Armed Services Committee Chairman (who????) announced an ethics investigation on Rep. Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, aka the Impeachment Hearing Star Chamber Committee. This is standard procedure in a political coup d'état -- try to silence anyone fighting the coup. I will guess that Jim Jordon is next on the list. This will be the second ethics investigation brought against Nunes.

The charge is that Nunes had a conversation with the fired Ukraine prosecutor. It escapes me how that would be a violation of anything, though maybe it broke some rule of Schiff's kangaroo court.

It should be legal for any American elected official to communicate with a foreign official to obtain information about political opponents.

The slow motion coup is organized, complex and has many tentacles. At least the left is anti-gun and this is a mostly bloodless takeover.

 

BOTH parties have become enemies of democracy. Their sole and only concern is winning elections. Thus we get Benghazi investigations for 4 years and now Ukraine investigations.

 

Your assertion has a ring of truth to it, but your example sucks. Ukraine was gingered up from whole cloth. Benghazi was an actual witnessed well known military assault on American sovereign property which the president and commander in chief said virtually nothing about except to send his minions out to deliberately lie and mislead everyone about the attack. There has never been a president who reacted as Obama did.

 

Ukraine investigations occurred because Trump held up funds that had been authorized by Congress. That is the simple FACT at the bottom of the investigation. Do you deny it?

 

Of course I deny it because it isn't true. Trump put a hold on the military aid (after giving them millions in military aid earlier) months before the Schiff crew conjured up the whistle blower making his second hand complaint over what he thought about what somebody told him. That is what set off the gladiators at the gate now called the basement impeachment inquiry. BTW, do you have any idea how often aid is temporarily put on hold? Are you aware that the law says a president must do that if he cannot assure its proper use?

 

I think we are witnessing a political cold war in the US my friends.

I stated a fact. The investigation is being made to determine WHY Trump held up legally authorized funds for Ukraine. The fact that he did it is indisputable.

But it was released during the congressional time frame.

And the argument that it was urgently needed. Because as i understand it the materials are not where they need to be to be useful.

 

Congress could hardly care less about a temporary hold on aid. Or if they wondered why they could have just asked. But, no, they saw that as maybe a new morsel of impeachment possibilities and that is why the investigation. Congress does not have to hold impeachment hearings to find out why some aid was held up, for Christ's sake. Maybe they could try to find out why Trump didn't eat unbuttered toast for breakfast. But don't tell Schiff. He'll snatch onto anything he can.

 

Democracy? Let's vote on Coke or Pepsi.

Hey, it's what ever his honor, Mr Schiff says it is.You have to know that in the future dystopic America, Adam Schiff will be president. If you extrapolate from the actions/policies/beliefs/philosophy of today's Democrat/Socialist/Progressive/Communists America will become indistinguishable from North Korea.

 

This will be the Devil Nunes second ethics investigation in the past twelve months.

Trump released the hold on September 11 (should be an easy date to remember). Two days after three House Committees initiated investigations into why the aid to Ukraine was being withheld. The whistleblower filed his/her complaint on August 12.

No it doesn't. The law says that certain requirements must be met. The Defense Department certified on May 23 that Ukraine had met the requirements. The President has to "assure" nothing.

 

Just like Obama did. Where was your outrage?

You probably have no clue about the discretion the WH has always had in administering funds but hey, this is a new chapter of emotional butt hurt.

 

And Ukraine got the funds within the legal limit. Take a guess who the Defense Department works for?
