I saw this on YouTube today. I thought there might be some truth to it, so I'd like to share it. Here goes: The purpose of racism is to allow wealthy White people to manipulate poor and middle class White people into voting against their own best interest. And to hide from them the fact that the wealthy benefit at their eexpense. It turns out if you offer someone a neck to step on, they do not notice the boot on their own necks. So yes, racism also harms White people, and in some direct (economic) ways, not just in damage to their moral capacity. Do any of you agree with this?
I agree, but you didn't go far enough. The purpose of all of this fake racism crap is to persuade people of all races to vote against their interests.
The fake racism that is designed to convince voters to vote against their, and the country's, interests is definitely fake. That fake racism does tend to feed actual racism.
Here is a more direct answer to your question: "Do you believe all racism is fake?" No. There would still be some, inconsequential racism, even without the leftist efforts to inflame passions.
Racism is REAL. Any African-American can tell you racism is alive and well in America. Do you think wealthy people play poor and middle class Whites and African-Americans against each other?
You went wrong, from the rip. Pretending racism only exist from one group, expressed towards another.
Whites are the group who hold most of the economic and political power. Whites were the Founders of the country---they wrote the Constitution, Bill of Rights. Racism started with Whites. I'm not pretending anything.
What is being described is a principle of social control present in societies since societies began. "Race" is used where possible, but even in "racially" uniform populations the same tactics arise.
Are you one of those of the mind that racism cant target whites? A black man was just voted President not one but two terms. How racist.
Most racism is not real. Yes wealthy leftists along with non-wealthy leftists stoke the flames of racism. I don't have to talk to anyone else. I grew up in a neighborhood where I had to constantly watch my back, due to the color of my skin. Once I was able to leave that area, I came to realize that that was a small part of reality.
African-Americans cannot be racist. They don't have the economic or political power to be racist. African-Americans can be prejudiced. But prejudice and racism are two different things. Also, prejudice is an individual choice. Racism is a system.

Speaking of the first Black President: I haven't in my lifetime saw a President more hated and disrespected than Barack Obama. He had great patience and humility to put up with the ugliness thrown at him.
LOL, have you been out of the country for several years? I dont think you even believe that, at least I hope not.
It seems you are responding to some other question, I asked you this ----Are you one of those of the mind that racism cant target whites?-----try again. This time try discussing white people.
It would be interesting to try working from a different point of departure. First, start with "there is only one race, the human race". Therefore, anyone basing action upon "race" is acting out of either ignorance or bad faith. If education taught us properly, we would understand basic human emotions, impulses and potential for prejudice. We would understand the power of words over our psychology and our actions/reactions. We would understand the power of our psychology over the words that come out of us. We would understand the necessity and limitations of self awareness. In other words, we would all be more human and less merely programmed animals. Of course, we would be less vulnerable to social control, so none of this will happen.
If that was all that was presented in what you saw, it is ridiculously simplistic and dumbed-down, possibly as an ironic attempt to manipulate people towards a singular conclusion. Racism covers a vast range of things. The idea that it is only intentional action by a sub-set of white people is simply wrong. A lot of racism is actually much more subtle and subconscious for a start and much of the more direct and blatant racism comes from deeper and more complex issues, individuals or within groups. I'd suggest racism very rarely occurs with a simple, direct purpose. If it were that simple, we'd have been able to deal with it much better already. The kind of socio-political manipulation described most certainly does happen, but race is far from the only division that can be and is used for that purpose and it's generally going to be more detailed and focused that just skin colour (even if the consequences might spread more generally).
G Whites can face prejudice, but NOT racism. Whites have the power to enforce racism, no other demographic in the USA does. African-Americans historically have not had the economic or political power to enforce racism ( Keep Whites out of certain schools, jobs, neighborhoods. Make the laws, control the financial institutions).
