Talking about wars, we supported jihadists in Chechnya to destroy Russia's pipelines; threatened Bulgaria to stop Southstream to hurt Russia; sanctioned Russia ad nauseum to destroy its economy; threatened nations that wanted to buy Russian arms; attacked companies working on Nordstream; jailed Russian nationalists without a fair trial; overthrew the elected president and installed mafia and nationalists in Kiev; attempted regime changes in nations friendly with Russia; surrounded Russia with American bases - and I could go on and on.

The Soviet Union didn't die, it moved here with all of Lenin and Trotsky's evils and impositions to form their internationalist and liberal new world order. But as Vladimir Putin said the Soviet Union didn't survive, and neither will we.

Frankly, I feel the West hasn't done enough to confront Russia.
You see how the West "confronts" North Korea over its nukes
which it develops, tests and spreads around the world? A big
    joke, isn't it?
The West confronts Russia the same way.
Russia continues to function through espionage and flogging off
    its forests and oil.
Ukraine now looks West, nothing Russia will do can change that,
except of course, invasion. And what will the West do about that?

Sure, Russia got burned in WWII. With Hitler they started that war,
and with America they finished that war.
But as Scholtezitsyn put, "Russia loves blood" and has been ruled
by bloody dictators for centuries. As Russian dissidents of prominence
    know - it hasn't changed.

Its no game - for years Russia and Opec have been cutting production while the US has increased ..going from 4 - 12 million bpd.

The stupid thing is that the US is not making any money in the shale oil - so it is messing up the global market for nothing - and no one is making money. Finally - they have had enough. Unlike the last time they tried this - the shale ponzi scheme is up - no one wants to touch that play with a 10 foot pole .. Chesepeake Energy was trading over 18 dollars a share 5 years ago. Tomorrow you can pick it up for 0.16 - 16 cents a share.

Same story for Occidental - was 80 dollars a share a little over a year ago - now its 14 Bucks - This was a 80 billion dollar company that is now worth 14 Billion - and the list goes on and on.

    A huge waste of capital.

Despite all of the Saudi anti Russki rhetoric to the contrary. Saudi's Geo-Political aims
.............. are the same as Russia's - " DESTROY The American Fracking Industry ! "

They just need "a plausible denial" in order to maintain the benefits of American alliance
& protection, Benefits that to a large extent are being paid for by the American Tax Payer
    cash cow. -
But their ultimate aim is definitely Anti American.and is the same as Russia's

What do you mean confront Russia, Washington's the one that instigates everything - and not just towards Russia, but towards N. Korea, Iran, Syria and every nation that doesn't bow and obey us. But I cry for my grandchildren, because all the blood that we poured on the world, will fall on them. I pray that God will carry them through the terrible years that are coming.

As for Ukraine which you mentioned, the Ukrainians are Russians, and they will return to where they belong - regardless of what the Americans, oligarchs and Galatian Nazis want. As for the Galatians, they can go back to Poland, which I'm sure will thrill the Poles, as long as they give them back the city of Lviv and the lands they stole.

    What we were once,
    we've ceased to be,
    for times have changed now,
    can't you see?

    The flag that once
    waved high and true
    is now all worn,
    forlorn and blue.

    It mourns for days

    when we had pride
of noble words and not of lies. - Jeannette

So let's take North Korea as an example.
We have this nuclear non-proliferation thing - you know, a way to slow down
or stop the spread of nuclear weapons.
NK makes nukes - China, Russia and Europe do nothing.
So should America try to stop this?
1 - no, let NK build them, sell them, detonate them and show non-proliferation is DEAD.
2 - yes, stop NK as an example to everyone else

Which do you prefer America should do?
Are you fine with America's "nuclear umbrella" as a way of limiting the spread of nukes?
What happens to nuclear-free Asia if America withdraws this umbrella?
Would America be "instigating" an issue in demanding NK give up its nukes?
Should America, in response to Chinese and Russian intransigence, provide nukes
to Ukraine, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea?

Ghadaffi trusted Washington and stopped developing a bomb and you saw what we did to him and Libya. Kim would have to be an idiot to trust us.

Moscow worked out a plan with China where N. Korea could gradually denuclearize and Russia would guarantee its safety. The plan required the US to pull its missiles from S. Korea at the same time that Kim was denuclearizing. Germany saw the plan and agreed with it. Kim also seemed satisfied.

The US refused it, because N. Korea is not their real concern. It was an excuse. Washington's concern is to threaten and destroy Russia's major port of Vladisvostok which is less than 100 miles from the border, since that's where it ships its wheat and LNG gas out to the world.

Besides that, peace between N. and S. Korea will benefit Russia, because its products then could be shipped through both countries and shorten their route to Japan.

If the US wants limits on nuclear arms, then why isn't it renewing the Nuclear Non Profiliration act with Russia. Up until now they have been ignoring all requests by Moscow?

This man Putin, whom you say speaks the truth
A former Stasi spy master who not only doen't speak the truth
but murdered many of journalists and other Russians who did.

You say that America is not concerned for nuclear non-proliferation,
but is more concerned for the port of Vladivostok? So NK can sell
nuke tech and America is not concerned? (think Syria's attempt at
creating a nuclear reactor with NK support.)
So Yemen, the Pakistani Taliban, ISIS, Cuba, Venezuela, Sudan,
Iran and every other nation on earth can possess nuclear weapons
and their delivery systems - and America is concerned for a Russian
port that delivers wheat and LNG?

This is a new theory indeed.

    Absolutely Ridiculous !
The American Fracking Industry which is pretty much American Oil, is fatally Anemic, Crippled
... by High Costs, which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to compete in an extended Low Cost environment
.... Even if the fool Yank Rube Tax Payers are compelled to bail them out,.. it will only postpone

Will gas at $1.50 per gallon “wreck the American economy”? On the contrary, it will be like steroids for the economy.

That's a ridiculous retort - the majority of the decreased oil cost beefs up the profits of the refiners and the majors - the consumer gets some benefit as well.

This conversation is about the fracking industry - which is getting destroyed - deservedly so - because it is a ponzi scheme that has lost money every year since inception - a zombie that could no longer get financing prior to Corona - this is a huge chunk of debt .. one company Occidental - lost over 60 Billion in market cap.

having a major sector like that go into the tank hurts the US economy - .. is this "the whole US economy" ? - give us a break and think before you post.

Do you see "Steroids for the Economy" going on ? What dream are you living in.

Now comes the theory part of your lecture. Too much inflation is bad ... deflation is disaster. This is counter intuitive but if you have deflation - economic conditions in the sector deflating are not good.

With very cheap oil, the fracking industry will shut down for a while. Then it will pick up again when the price per barrel makes it profitable again (roughly $50-$55 per barrel). But that's a small fraction of the American economy. Looking at the big picture, the pain in the fracking industry is minuscule compared to the benefits of cheap oil.

US Fracking is NOT looking at a simple down turn and Rationalization.
They are facing the Existential Threat of a terminal Bankruptcy and that
..... in turn presents a very real problem for the Banks. - - And what do YOU
    .....
think Bank Insolvency or another Monstrous Bail Out is going to do for
.... an Anemic Economy, ever struggling along on the verge of Catastrophe,
given the combined sustained blows of, - 1. wrecked Oil, - 2. the Structural
................Contradictions built into the FED's debt based Fiat Currency and
.......................................... 3. the Corona Virus World Wide shut down ?
................................................................. are your grocery store's shelves empty yet ?

    from The Wall Street Journal
Oil-Price Crash Raises Risk for Banks, Commodity Traders

Some oil-producing nations repay loans with crude. That could become a problem
for banks and trading houses. ( not to mention the petro dollar )
