In this cataclysmic, societal upending of our lives personal responsibility should, perhaps, take on a whole new significance. We are, somewhat necessarily, embarking on a slippery slope of 'Nanny State' mandates; which may be very hard to roll back when this is all said & done.

While much of what we are experiencing on the State level is arguably prudent & called for, under the circumstances, I can't help but stoke the inate fires of fierce independence & proactive personal responsibility in the midst of all of this... If ever there was a time for some to quit deleterious physiologic lifestyles - this would be it (me thinks)! There will always be the complacent, self destructive & dependent personalities among us; for the rest of us I hope the desire still abides within us to do everything we can to fortify ourselves in the midst of this adversity... Nutrition based, immune system vitality is something that we can all effectuate a change in - Today!

Anxiously awaiting the posters that have miraculously found their superior knowledge of chemistry and pharmacy to step in and poo-poo anything that might become potentially positive news leading to a vaccine for the Wuhan virus.

No, we just look to the CDC and other respectable agencies for information. We don't look to crackpot radio for medical answers.

Quercetine is an anti-oxidant, chloroquine is not. I doubt they'd have the same mechanism of action, if that mechanism is even understood for the antiviral properties of choloroquine.

Stop peddling those "cures". If chloroquine was actually a "cure" do you think we'd have 55,000 deaths worldwide?

Yes because they went from total denial to miracle cures in the drop of a coffin lid.

The bigger the pharmaceutical arsenal the better. If the supply of one pill is exhausted at a location, perhaps the next will be available.

afaik there's research on more than a hundred existing drugs now.

It will take quite a long time and probably investigative forensics we likely don't have in this country or anywhere in the world any more to parse out exactly how many of these corona "deaths" are actually cancer, heart, diabetes, comorbid, or even accidents, etc.

But rest assured if we ever manage to dig beneath the mountains lies of government and related parasites, all the self-interested gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex canard and thieving, distortions, INFINITE SELF-DEALING, those truths won't come from you or anyone like you.

The silver lining here is only prospective. Will the citizenry, the non dependent taxpayers of the private sector, EVER wake up and realize the extent that they are being milked by con artists and thieves at ALL levels of the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex? Stay Tuned.

He didn't peddle a cure he brought info he found and passed it on. Some appreciate this and you immediately dismissing says more about you than anything. You don't know if it's a cure or not noone does right now, yet you tell people to stop doing something on an open forum. please

Chloroquine is the "cure." But it must be administered early and the person cannot have severe pre existing conditions.

    Absolute QUACKERY.

And Savage and the "Dr." thing? He is a PhD (Not an M.D.)

    This guy seems really solid:

conservative political commentator and conspiracy theorist with ties to Alex Jones

The Cure for Cancer can't be far behind.

Anyway, MANY "Unproven/Anecdotal Therapies" are making the rounds of "Internet Quackery".

But, to be (absolutely) FAIR, People are Free to do whatever they want (as far as "Self-Medicating").

Hopefully, Alex Jones doesn't publish a Medical Thesis claiming that a tablespoon of gasoline (each morning) cures the Virus.

I hear that he has a lot of followers.:salute:

Quercitin & Epigallocatechn open the gated ion channels in the cell walls to zinc... Zinc is what does the actual work on the virus...

There is ONE paper in pubmed that claims quercetin is a zinc ionophore:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25050823

That's not a lot of evidence. At least, for chloroquine, the evidence is stronger, although its anti-covid effects are still largely anecdotal.

Plus, an ionophore is not the same as an ion channel.

It would be great of it worked, but I'd not bet my life on it.

The research is out there. Both are metal ionophores and based on research of zinc’s effect on immune system function and suppression of viral replication the mechanism of both chloroquine and quercetin are likely very similar.

If you have different current information I’m interested to see it.

No need when we have all the "experts" here to tell us how smart they are.
