    Current seats after election

    Election result 2019
    With 100% of vote counted:

    SDP 40 seats
    FP 39
    NCP 38
    CEN 31
    GREENS 20
    LEFT 16
    SPP 9
    CD 5
    BLUE 0

    OTHERS 2

I voted Greens but my candidate didn't make it. Greens took 5 more seats and I'm glad about it (early estimate was +6 so.. came close).

SDP = Social Democratic Party (leftist party)
FP is typical populist party known for being racist and denying science - good combination, have you seen anything like it in US?
NCP = National Coalition Party (center-right, smells like republicans, well that's no good)
CEN = Centre (these fools lost 18 seats, way to go)
LEFT = well, it's just left, our True Left party, but not communist (we have that too)
SPP = Swedish People's Party (nice folks, a bit leaning to right)
CD = Christian Democratic - Jesus people
BLUE party is just clowns without clue what to do in our politics, now they're gone, yay :)

I'm not sure who's in that OTHER now.. have to find out

yes, here is a link on it
    https://www.politico.eu/article/finlands-social-democrats-win-close-election-victory/

The closness of what you call 'typical populist' and it calls 'far right' to the SDP is alarming 17.7% of the vote to 17.5%

What is the SDP like? Could the Greens maybe team up with them and get an agreement on a Green Policy. That I think does best with people who are not loyal to neo liberalism. What do you think?

SDP is mostly ok. I'm also hoping some agreement and Greens are only party with high environmental priorities. Now it's time to start negotiations, so after some time we know what's going on. Better just wait now.

Finland need some new ideas and how we can evolve as society, also we have to avoid mistakes - but learning from the past is hardest thing to do. "Avoid stupidity at all cost" should be slogan for next years of governing. Still I'm a bit worried what those FP (Finnish Party) will do. It's mixed bag of some bad - not so sharp - tools. Now they are saying being flexible (because having power comes first for those fools). I think populism, in any form, is just bad. It's cheap-ass-politics, far from anything intellectual and usually appealing for people who don't fact check anything - so.. whatever 'feels comfy' is sign of truth for those folks.
