Good. Never stop trying to quit. I finally did. They say my lungs are fine. Its only been 3 years....I guess. Why pay tobacco companies to kill you. This is life and death and lets make no mistake about that.
You'll need a patch. Go see a doc for a prescription. By now your body is hopeless addicted to external nicotine (your body normally makes it by itself but when you flood it with external nicotine it shuts down the internal process and then you become addicted to the external supply).
Do you have a link for that? Nicotine occurs naturally in plants - tomatoes, potatoes. eggplant, coca, and green peppers. I was reading that the reason addiction is so pervasive is that we have receptors for nicotine. As almost a fluke of nature, the brain should produce nicotine but doesn't. So when nicotine receptors are stimulated, the brain goes crazy and demands more. But it was a questionable source and I couldn't spot anything else that dealt with this specifically.

I used the mini nicotine lozenges 4mg...worked my way down to 2mg. Now i don't use them unless I'm drinking alcohol to eliminate a craving. Now I can't stand the smell of smoke. Only relapsed twice (one cig) over the past 3 years
I gave up smoking 37 years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did. When I look at my peers who didn't I realize how much worse off I would be now.
Maybe people should look at the date of the OP before making suggestions. If he made it over a month and a half, he has it on the run.
