Monetary pursuits? Yes. Then this is a career motivated goal. I have another type of idea.. not for anyone to take as a 'pointing of finger'.. but as a relational way to be part of that 'race relations' Stay near your parents... Provide for the household as well. Contribute time by being nearby and still 'pursuing' career. After all, once they are gone and once they bequeath any of their properties to someone, someone might need to take care of the paper work. And then with the job nearby, still doing what might have been done by going to New York or London or Paris, you can then start your own official all alone life with the career you learned to love while living nearby your parents..
