What a shock that this woman is having so much trouble finding gainful employment.

Listen to the arguments being presented here - they are the same arguments being used for transgenders. They are "biologically" something, but they "identify" as something else, and society is expected to acknowledge the identification, not the biology.

I find it interesting that she would contrast "the black side" with "whiteness". If race was simply a "social construct", why would she need to differentiate these two, assumingly, polar opposite races? We are told by the left that "white culture" doesn't really exist, so how can "whiteness" exist?

It's a crazy world we live in now, all you have to do is claim to be something and apparently that makes it true... So knowing that, I am now officially identifying as a billionaire. If I am not treated as such, I will riot and protest!!

:D This says it all, a snowflake fallen into a burning coalmine.

The idiot exercised her "black privilege" . Some people are just absolutely whacked.

Why can someone "identify" as a woman despite being born a man, and have society recognize her as a woman, yet someone who was born white cannot be black if they identify as black?

Isn't it interesting how quickly the NAACP abandoned her? Even after all the years she spent advocating for black people, they instant they found out she was white, she was gone. It kind of shows that no matter how accepting of blacks a white person is, they will never be truly accepted by them.

Because they can't? Nobody I know thinks society believes gender identification is a legit deal either. :D

Apparently she was offered money to appear in a few porn films and she turned it down. Maybe the male actor was white? If they found a few black pornstars maybe she would reconsider?

But you have literally tens, if not hundreds of millions of people in this country and elsewhere that actually believe that a man is a woman if he identifies as one. Why can't a white person be black if they identify as black?

She should have no problem running for the House of Representatives (naturally as a Democrat of course) and being a part of the Congressional Black Caucasians upon winning the seat.

Maybe the problem is that she is ahead of her time? 30 years ago, I don't think very many people would have believed that transgender rights were going to be a top Democratic party platform, but here they are. Maybe transracial rights will be the next civil rights issue that our educated progressive elites will try and push in society. Rachel Dolezal may even find her way onto some US currency at some point, as a pioneer on this issue.

The loon published something or other ... in "whatever", she characterizes herself as "a woke soul sister". She's really beyond help.

They don't want to be associated with this comic book character. Who does? I can't fault NAACP here. She should take a hint.

I think her mindset is actually very common on the left, it was just taken all the way to the extreme end in the case of Rachel Dolezal. There's a distinct progressive urge to distance themselves from anything related to white history and white culture, in favor of ethnic cultures.

You would think they would practice some of that "tolerance" that they chastise whites for not having enough of. Why do they care if she is white? Hasn't she dedicated her life to advancing the cause of blacks? Shouldn't that be what matters to them?

Why is she an embarrassment? Shouldn't her years of advocating for blacks be worth something to the NAACP? Why do they care if she is white?

The left should have to account for the inconsistencies in their ideology.

You'd think a progressive organization that was founded to combat racism and discrimination, would not practice racism and discrimination against others.

Turns out when the Dems say they support blacks, they really meant they support whites.

And when they say they support women, they really meant they support men.

Leftist foolishness. Claiming to something you aren't is so asinine. It's simply incorrect.

Not surprised she's having such a tough time. "Activism" as a career is code word for no marketable skills IMO. The fact that she thinks Biological facts are simply social constructions doesn't help her case either...she's obviously got some loose screws.
Not the kind of person people will be rushing to employ.

I'm sure many will eat up her book in todays climate, so she'll probably be ok.
