Rachel Maddow and WHY ?

There must be some hidden reason or ploy behind why ALL
Rachel Maddow talks about is this Pandemic.For the last 3-4 weeks.
Just segment after segment on nothing but the Pandemic.
How scary and deadly it is.How Trump is constantly underestimating it
or Lying about.I think I know why.
Because it has become The Meme of all meme.The final nail in the
coffin for Trump,His Economy,His Re-election chances,his base of
support.Maybe even his going bald from worry.
Am I wrong.Or wronged.

 

No hidden reason. Ratings. Ain't rocket science. It's always about increasing viewership and ad revenue - for all the talking
heads on all the networks ... Fox, CNN, whatever.

 

I have to say her Ratings are probably the lowest they've been
in a couple years.Granted she had some ratings blockbusters
the last 2 years.But they ended up being short-lived.
My hunch is that she was given marching orders to play
this Virus up till the Cows come home.And then some for
effect.

 

Well that and the fact that partisan reporting on trump's incompetent handling of this crisis is the dem's version of "her emails".

It never hurts to continually focus on his incompetent leadership and his continual gaslighting attempts.

 

Well if you know what she's been talking about every night...you sure are helping her ratings

 

The virus has killed 80,000 Americans and caused a recession and 15% unemployment.
It's not like its a cat stuck in a tree story.

 

While I agree in general that ratings are the reason for many things - it is not the only reason for things - and I don't think we can just write off the OP's comments on the basis of that.

It is one thing to have Corona on a regular basis - but not 23/7 - that isn't getting ratings - 12 hours a day would do it - the other half being other stuff - like Israel getting so out of control that Jordan - one of only two Arab states to have a peace treaty with Israel and a friend to the West - is saying this:

Talk about Gaslighting.You just used it.Just a few hours ago
Trump said Obama's Presidency was " Incompetent ".
Gaslighting is the Psychological technique where a person
is tricked into doubting their memory of events.The more that can
be tricked the easier it is control new input and manipulate
a person for use.Like what Happenned to Patty Hearse.
She was so Gaslighted { brainwashed she became part of the gang
who kidnapped her }.
Obama considered Trump " Incompetent " over the weekend in his
Commencement speech.But did not use Trump's name.

 

I used to watch Maddow for a year or two after she first went on air. She was good. Then she wasn't. She wasn't bad or anything, but she just talks about leftist issues, her marching orders, as people say.

Personally, I think the leftist media has nothing more to talk about that's interesting. And, satirically, the news is just there to scare you into buying products, like in this funny video:

I think it's a typo; he's talking about Ratchet Madcow.

 

Don't necessarily agree with either of those points.

The mortality numbers have been deliberately over-reported, and the unemployment was caused by a fearmongering reaction to the hype.

Some states are actually trying to be honest and revise their numbers down to reflect reality, but they are getting some hard blowback from the left.

Colorado revised their numbers down approx. 23%, and the Dem Governor was called every name in the book.

And I would argue that even that revision is probably still not accurate - the actual coronavirus numbers are still lower if you simply compare the death rates from other causes annually.

And as for the fear?? It plays for the Dems - not to mention it is their nature to act in an authoritarian manner. Garcetti in LA, and the Gov. in Michigan are out if their minds.

 

Like I stated in another post, Maddow is not dealing with her stress very well.

The public response to Trump regarding his handling of the pandemic has been favorable. If he wins on this issue, he wins in November.

Maddow and MSDNC know they have no choice but to try to attack his credibility on this specific issue, but it doesn't help much that many of the Blue State Governors are screwing up badly.

 

Maybe it's because the pandemic has caused much misery, death, and so happens to be the biggest story of the decade ( prior )

The term 'gaslighting' has been expanded a bit since the movie that gave the concept a name.

If Trump incessantly repeated a lie, an egregious lie, even after it was publicy disproven, in a very big way, and he continued to repeat the lie, he could be said to be 'gaslighting'. So the verb could be extended to mean deliberately, trying to drive your opponents crazy in that more broader sense than was originally assigned to the coined term.

 

I find her unhinged rants deeply MOO-ving.

It was On - The Situation with With Tucker Carlson - { 2005-2008 }
I have explained this many times here at PF. He started each show
{ 11 PM est } with a short debate over a recent polemic.
He used mostly Rachel Maddow for role as devil's advocate.
But on her nights off it was either Flavia Colgan { good debater in her
own right } or sidekick { think Ed McMahon } Willie Geist.
Tucker wore his trademark Bow tie,popularized to great effect while
at CNN with - Crossfire -.
Tucker is so classy all I've heard him say as to regarding Rachel Maddow
is that she is Smart and something about knowing what she's doing.
He is not going any further.It won't be long before someone at MSNBC
let's the cat out of the bag and admonishes Carlson since his newfound
popularity is gaining speed.It'd be a real gas if that someone was Al Sharpton.
More than likely it will start with Joe Scarborough and peaks with insatiable
Flamer Lawrence O'Donnell.

 

She relies too much on Same old,same old.Going off on boring tirades
over whatever new info she can gather.Mores like muster.Her standard
personality hinges like a rusty door fitting on her supposedly crafty use of
laughing and smiling simultaneously as if She Knows her stuff.
She might'n and she should.Probably has assistants working throughout
the day exclusively as preppers for her Prime Time appearance { 9 Pm }.
But Her personality is not welcoming even if she swears by it.
That's the thingy.She's just not Likeable.Probably due to the obvious
reality of her agenda.She gets paid to be a Muckraker Ironically for
the wrong side.Not by exposing corruption but rather dealing it out
like a crooker blackjack dealer to help { profit } those snarks in her

Build up the Pandemic way past anything this country has ever witnessed
and then use it for Political reality.To Destroy the Economy while making
Trump out to be a Villain.2 Agendas with one Pandemic stone.
The use of this Pandemic Panic will go down in American History as
to the Biggest disaster in our Country's heritage.No question about it.
The Mortality rate is about the same as the Seasonal Flu.
Most those { up to 80% } who test positive will show no symptoms.
Those who do get sick survive.Barely a few per thousand die.
As few as One per Thousand.
In Miami, a county of several million had only one death with less
than 1500 cases { Mar.31st }.
That was right at around the peak season for this Pandemic.

 

Flat out Monumental LIE.And I'll prove.Hillary broke all protocol
with State Dept. rigid guidelines as to a private server.She knew
what she set up { Private server in her residence } was not just wrong
but wrong in the extreme and possibly criminal.Like passing along
Classified Material.It's a Felony and this Government puts americans
in jail when caught doing it w/o authority.
Hillary had an illegal server when as Secretary of State and directly
involved with the Arab Spring,the Ouster of Egypt's Hosni Mubarak in
2011 and also Muammar Gaddafi's Ouster and assassination the same
time { year }. Hillary had an illegal e-mail account { correspondence tool }
to send signals to her buddy { Sidney Blumenthal } via her BlackBerry.
These secret correspondence were not only frowned upon but Obama
who also favored use of a BlackBerry denied and banned Blumenthal
from his White House.
Blumenthal { Clinton confidant } and Hillary conspired in attempts to profit
personally with the fall of Libya.Plus all the Benghazi bidness.Hillary feigning
no knowledge of Turkey being armed with military weaponry housed in the
Benghazi CIA compound when drilled at her senate hearing by senator
Rand Paul.In fact she thought it funny.
