Often 'White-collar' criminals like Donald Trump who has had 6 bankruptcies apart from his current moral bankruptcy, ethical bankruptcy, spiritual bankruptcy, and his bankruptcy of the US economy where government debt is growing twice as fast as GDP growth before Covid19 and now astronomical.

So its so obvious that you can't support your position with just one piece of evidence. When are you going to give the 'and obviously pigs can fly' climax?

I already know you support supply side economics. You now seem to support the right wing discrimination approach. When did you dismiss the Marxist approach, such as Roemer's modelling, and how did you do it? ;)

Anytime you’d like to have a discussion on the subject I’ll be happy to do so.

The problem you’re going to have is not that I’m a racist. It’s that I’m correct.

When 13% (actually 6) of your population is Responsible for 40-50% of all of your violent crime, that’s a problem.

What discrimination? They only people I know of who routinely discriminate are leftists. Black criminals are routinely allowed to constantly pillage black neighborhoods while white criminals are thrown in jail so quick it makes your head spin. If you belong to the Aryan Brother you go to jail, if you belong to any of the black gangs leftists act like you're some sort of hero. And the virulent racism and anti semitism of the Nation of Islam gets a complete pass.

Discrimination is easily measured. See, for example, the Oaxaca-Ransom decomposition method. Like the other fellow, you seem awfully convinced that it doesn't exist. That must be an evidence based conclusion. Given you've read the literature, perhaps you could give an example of a study that concludes discrimination does not exist. ;)

Systemic Racism within police does not exist
    https://www.pnas.org/content/116/32/15877

White officers are less likely than hispanic or black officers to shoot
    https://www.phillypolice.com/assets/directives/cops-w0753-pub.pdf

The idea that there is systemic racism against blacks in this country is demonstrably false. The ONLY group whom it is legal and government sanctioned to discriminate against in this country are white people.
I GUARANTEE I can name more examples of government sponsored explicit discrimination against whites in place today than you can for blacks in place today.

The word 'racism' always brings conservatives to the boil because they know exactly what it is and are furious at being exposed.

Lol fine. I’ll start first. Everybody knows about affirmative action so I’ll just ignore that.

The US government provides tax credits to businesses who hire minority contractors but not for hiring white contractors. Essentially paying businesses to hire anyone except for white people.

Our government provides grants and loans to minority farmers that white farmers can’t get access to because the color of their skin is white.

Our government through the SBA program 8a provides grants, loans and government contracts to minority business owners that whites either can’t access or are forced to jump through literally impossible criteria to get because their skin is white.

Our government provides tax incentives to people who invest in minority businesses businesses but not for investing in white owned businesses. Essentially paying people to invest in any businesses except for white owned businesses.

I challenge you to name even ONE policy or program that is in place today against blacks, that is even REMOTELY as racist and discriminatory as any one of those programs I just named against whites.

    Don’t worry. I’ll wait.

Your problem really is that Trump has given himself and the wealthy huge tax cuts and put it on the card.

Trump is running up debt growth at > 2 x GDP growth. The economy is going backward.

What you describe above is trivial in comparison to Trump filling his pockets from Uncle Sam's credit card.

That has nothing to do with the fact that the ONLY group in the US who faces systemic discrimination today are whites.

Just as a FYI, and I am guessing because I haven't read the thread... but considering the way these threads usually go, I disagree with all you, to one degree or another.

16 trillion is a back of the napkin kind of number. Sure, if I could wave a magic wand and create parity immediately, it would add hundreds of billions to the economy each year.

And we're in a historic resurgence of racism.

But the only thing that is relevant here is policy. Improving policing, education, the environment (Blacks get the shaft, like in Flint, Michigan), and more.

Way back in the 80s we started letting business get predatory on the poor. Actually, the Reagan nuts did a bunch of crappy things to the poor.

You know, we need "a more perfect Union".

The Ag Dept spends billions on farmers, and uses our muscle to open markets for our agricultural products. Those White guys you're whining about should see a 100% reduction in their welfare checks.

That money should go to small and medium size farms, to replace industrial agriculture.

That's as much goofy as I can tolerate in one post. You got unlucky, the Ag Dept is one of my pet peeves, and one of America's big evils that always flies under the radar.

You do realize that most white farmers aren’t wealthy right?

Agribusiness hires farmers, they are usually insurance companies, conglomerates, etc.

Which makes those farmers contract workers. And the agribusiness gets tax credits for hiring minority contractors, but not for hiring white ones.
