Lack of alternative outlets for physical conflict and violence. It hasn't been that many generations since men that liked to fight and kill were necessary to the survival of the tribe. The genes that made them heroes then are still very much in the pool, though having them is more likely to make one a villain now. And as we all (I hope!) can understand, supressing ones nature is never healthy, as the examples provided in this thread demonstrate. I think these folks should've joined a martial arts club or taken up hunting. Prolly would've prevented them from doing what they did. And the psych drugs doctors hand out like candy don't help either. They just replace depression with disconnection.
You pretty much said yourself, other people drive them to the extremes. The various passive factors being listed here as being to blame can all be relevant in making an individual more vulnerable to radicalisation (in any direction) but it will always take some kind of active push to actually get them there. The problem is when people who are influenced by some of those passive factors are perceived as guilty rather than as the potential victims they are.

I will give you men can potentially be violent and enter into physical conflict but to seek both is abnormal behavior. Someone walking around with that much anger needs to suppress it and get help. Its not anger any more than being hungry or horny is anger. Its more like when cats kill things for fun. Its a genetically preset drive resulting from uncounted generations throughout human evolution where the enjoyment of and lust for violence made primitive man excel and more likely to pass on the genes responsible. The anger comes from being unable to fullfill that drive. Video games and sports suffice for many of us. Others need to hunt. Its possible that this drive is simply too strong in a few people to allow them to exist peaceably in modern society. Which would mean there is no way to fix it socially.

You are missing the point. This an internet generated problem of radicalizing usually young men of which a small percentage are unstable enough to start killing innocent citizens. The issue with fathers have been raised before and I think it is a red herring. I think it is more a dissatisfaction with their life and turning to an easy venue that provides answers that blame others.
I don't think that can be supported and I disagree with the citations. Violence may have been necessary in our past for obtaining food and protecting territory which was essential for protecting food supply but most modern men are removed from the need to act violently and live a happy peaceful life. They are not sitting on an urge to act out violently. What your articles demonstrate because of reproductive success, tribes would become in increasing contact with other tribes that have their own interests to look after.
