Going to Wrigley Field is the best thing for a person, no one really cares if the Cubs win or lose..it's just the enjoyment of the place/ the history..it's a ballpark that you can't describe until you been there and just feel it.

    The green monster is asst
when I was younger my dad took me and my brother to the Astrodome to see the Astros play. They were normally very early season and the stadium was always more than half empty. But it was always a cool experience.

It is kind of sad that they've just abandoned it and the new stadium it just doesn't have the same feel.

In these parts the Astrodome is referred to as the 8th Wonder. There is even a brewery little microbrewery that's referred to as the 8th Wonder in remembrance of the Astrodome.

I remember going there to see the rodeo that was a lot of fun.

And we always had a big boy scout convention there when I was a youth.

Public safety should be done for the least expense possible? Huh?
No expense on safety is the least expensive.

Just right for a project undertaken by government.

For anyone who is wondering why it was so expensive, READ THE FREAKING LINK!!!!!! The reason it was more than your average crosswalk is due to the fact that it was completed with thermoplastic tiles instead of the regular reflective white paint. And, because of the way it is constructed, it won't require any maintenance for the next 10 years.

If gay crosswalks cost so much I think government should stick with the NORMAL cross walks.

Again, the cost is because of what it was made out of, and there will be zero maintenance required for the next 10 years because it's made of thermoplastic tiles.

The question isn't whether or not it's durable the question is whether or not a rainbow crosswalk is that necessary.

I don't see that big a deal with it because cities spend gobs of money on making things pretty. The funds for this actually came out of the transportation budget and it represents 0.3% of the budget.

So the caterwauling about feeding homeless people homeless people aren't fed out of the transportation budget I don't know about potholes I want to say that's a different department that funds that but I don't know.

With all this publicity, that crosswalk will become a tourist attraction bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars to the town
