WHAT?!?! I love all this stuff. EDM took some getting used to but I even learned to appreciate that.

My first sb liked EDM so I was highly motivated. :D Funny, we used to listen to EDM, mood music, and a lot of Ella Fitzgerald.

Meh, the conservative left in me I guess.

If I have to learn to like something.... I usually try to avoid it.

Eh, some things just take a little exposure. That is one thing I like about seeing young women. They are constantly introducing me to new things.

Funny though, Floyd is still hugely popular even with women in their twenties. I would guess that about half of the women I've met like Floyd. Vinyl is huge. I'm dating younguns. It's like 1975 all over again only with a lot more sex. :D

Never been interested in younger tail. My ex, & my wife are the only 2 that have been younger, (3 years). Even as I age, I find zero interest.

For music, I exposed myself to enough. Plenty of enjoyment for me in old Punk, Blues, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal...

Honestly, I find the best talent has been.

I can't say I had zero interest. There was never a time when a beautiful young woman couldn't turn my head. But never for a moment did I expect to have sex with anyone but my wife. I had many chances but never seriously considered pursuing any of them. That all changed in a moment. My next thought was that 23 and hot sounded pretty good! So I divorced my wife, went to Reno, and got two. :D

I have seen a few women closer to my age. I look at them and see my ex wife. At that point, there isn't enough Viagra in the world. One woman I saw thinks I'm "mind fckd" now. I haven't seen anyone who isn't younger and or far younger [almost 30 years younger] and gorgeous, for over five years. I dunno, she may be right, but I might have been mind fkd long before I left the ex. Hmmmm. Its the chicken and the egg problem. Oh well. I'll just have to suffer.

I don't buy it old man. ;) You sound like my dad. :deadhorse:

But then I had a professor who didn't think anything worth a crap has been written since Mozart died.

Well, my oldest is 30, his sister 28, & my youngest 12, so, depending on your age, It's likely I'd sound like your old man!

I had the same mindphuck issue with my last ex too.

    Thank God for my wife.

Now the only mindphuck, is dealing with my youngest's situation.

Let's see if I can accomplish falling off, before she gets another order shall we?

When you're taking a pee in a bush why does your dog always want to watch?

    Wife got another lumber order....

Cause he pissed you're claiming territory!

At least that's how I interpret our Shi Tzu.

I'd rather think that my dog is picking up the scent so he can avoid my territory. But...I like your theory too.

I'm the type that thinks that the cats only watch us sleep, so they can tell if we're breathing or not.... Looking for the time to start with the eyes, & gorge themselves!

Ya I have always thought that if you died, a cat would eat you. A dog wouldn't. I still like cats though. And dogs.

I'm in my fifties. ;) Age is a state of mind.

But I remember my father complaining about new music being crap... and all those damned hippies smoking marijuana...

I always liked listening to drunk people complain about pot smoking. :D The poetry of hypocrisy.

I keep hearing that from men who remarried. I don't know if I could ever feel that way again unless some 25yo supermodel falls in love with me, and I her.

I guess I will have to fall in love with beauty because I can't trust any woman enough to fall in love otherwise. I often think this is how it comes down. I know I can never trust another woman my age. I know too much about their thinking. It took me half a lifetime but now I get it.

I've been with my girlfriend for 5 years. I'm not married because I'm still trying to figure out what she wants long term. If she wants to be a stay at home mom, while I bust my rear end all these years and half my hard earned money goes to her, I don't know if that's what I want.

Prior to joining here, I'd not really been actively participating on any board, for like 6 years.

WOW, the population explosion of Partisan, & general retards on the globe is amazing.

Beware! Women have been cultured to expect men to work our lives away until we drop and get nothing in return. They expect it! Many feel completely entitled. It took me 15 years to figure it out but I finally realized that I and my happiness really were her LAST concern. It didn't hit me until I realized that in her mind, the cats really were more important that I was...as long as she got my check each month.

Eventually I came to believe she was trying to help me to the grave as fast as possible. Then I discovered the secret, second life insurance policy she had taken out on me.

I've made it very clear that both of us will work, earn money, for this relationship to continue. If she wants to be a stay at home mother, we better be millionaires first.

There is one memory that I still have a hard time shaking. When my health first starting going South, one day I had a bad blood sugar crisis and passed out. But my wife thought I was having a heart attack. As I was losing consciousness, I was aware of her hovering over me and yelling "You can't do this to me!!!"

I can't do this to her? It only hit me later. She thought I was dying and she was only concerned about herself. How about them apples?
