Ah jeez, sorry the delay folks. Wanted to post the results over the weekend, but got unexpectedly busy over the weekend and then even busier once the work week got going. But...wait over, I'm posting the results now. This was a close one, but in the end, one option managed to rise just above the others. And the Winner is........ Option A: Google Phone/Android! Or, more accurately...there is a three-way tie between A, C, and E in the Plurality and Instant Runoff votes. But Option A ekes out a narrow solo victory over the others using the Condorcet RP method. @PatrickT, you could actually say that your last minute entry was the deciding vote here. Well, at least for making A tie in Plurality and IRO. In RP A beats out B 9-4 one on one, and would have still won 8-4 had you not voted...so perhaps not that narrow after-all. But anyways, now I know what kind of phones to get you guys if I ever win the lottery. Lol! Results (Ranked Pairs - Plurality - Instant Runoff): Code: Rank Votes Votes at Elimination A 0 A 4 A 4 B 1 C 4 C 4 E 2 E 4 E 4 C 3 B 3 B 3 D 4 D 0 D 0 Spoiler: Ballots Transposed Code: E C E E C B C C A B A B E A A D A A A A D B A B B B E C B E C D B C Someone let me know if the alignment of this looks messed up. Unfortunately I couldn't add colors. And I didn't feel like uploading an image for this one... BTW, note that for Instant Runoff no votes are added to the other options because the two posters who ranked B highest happened to not rank anything after B. Also note, that for posters who voted for A, C, and E, they're ranks below their top pick did not have an impact in the IRO, since using that method, one's lower rankings only come into effect if your top/higher rankings get eliminated first. Spoiler: Options A. Google Phone/Android B. Samsung Galaxy C. Apple iPhone D. BlackBerry E. LG Flip Phone Welp, that's it for this vote, a big thank you to everyone who participated. Feel free to discuss the results below. And if you'd like to discuss different voting methods more broadly, or participate in one of the other Ranked votes coming up, be sure to check out the following thread: Ranked Vote: Discussion Thread -Meta
I don't like bloat, Which I guess is why I have a flip phone and a Galaxy. Also, I second that sentiment on battery life. -Meta
