Rant of the Week: Zero-Tolerance. How Stupid Can You Get?

'I wish people would stop saying “how stupid can you get” when it comes to school zero-tolerance gun policies. School administrators see it as a challenge and rise to the occasion.'

I have to agree.Zero Tolerance in these cases is really just intellectual and moral laziness and avoidance of responsibility.

There -is- no limit to the stupidity of the actions taken by hoplophobes..

 

I can't fully express how stupid someone has to be to think a poptart in ANY shape is anything but a poptart.

These people are Class A morons.

 

Common sense should apply. But these actions happen as much from complaints of parents than they do anyone else

How often are parents in the lunchroom to watch a kid nibble a pop-tart into a gun shape,..??...

 

I'd have walked by the arts and crafts table to see if a glue gun was there and started screaming for everyone to take cover, then sued the school for handing out weapons to school children.

 

Kid comes home and tells his mom and she flips out that her little johnny was in "such danger". "How could the school let this happen?" "I may need to contact our lawyer".

DUH.

 

The pop tart gun suspension is even more stupid than the stick gun expulsion.

What's worse is the totally kooky liberal judge who upheld the suspension.

Virtually all these silly imaginary gun suspensions are in Liberal Democrat Black strongholds never want their own violent actions to be punished. Blame guns! Blame slavery! Blame Jim Crow!

 

Another reason why K-12 public schools should be funded, administered and held accountable solely by the local citizens.

I don't think the state government should have much say in these schools---and certainly no say by our federal government and federal courts.

 

When can a poptart however nibbled, look anything like a gun without a great leap of faith and a vivid imagaination ?

I'm not sure what, if anything, this has to do with gun control, or government, or politics, or anything really except lazy a** stupidity, an extreme fear of thinking, common sense, or just being a responsible person, never mind an adult. The average child anywhere would look at this funny.

What is a lunchroom, and what is a poptart?

 

A modern invention, people eat lunch in a Lunchroom or cafeteria.

Self explanitory.

A Poptart is a jelly filled pastry (Tart) that is heated in an electric pop up toaster.

The wackos got so upset is they can't figure out what is dangerous and what isn't. Waiting for the call for pop tarts permitting and mandatory training... first lesson is the taste test.

I believe so, Michelle Obama's Healthy Lunch decree.
It also banned any food simulating a gun and gun substitutes.

 

Man I've heard of people who "love guns" but that's a whole new level.

 

And those parents should realize how stupid are their complaints.
