    Rapinoe shows her patriotism through actions. By putting every effort for her country. Trump hugs a flag, praises dictators who attack us, and who torture and kill Americans.

    Rapinoe gets up at 5 in the morning to train and make us proud. Trump gets up at 5 in the morning to tweet and embarrass us.

    Rapinoe is one of the best at what she does. Trump doesn't even sit at security briefings.

    Rapinoe is one of the best players in the world. Trump is the worst President in U.S. history.

    You can criticize whomever you want. But anybody who questions the patriotism of a person who struggles to hold our country's name high, and at the same time defends a guy who puts us at the level of murderous dictators, just because he hugs a flag, does not have their concepts straight.

    I'm not pointing fingers (yet). Anybody who questions Rapinoe's patriotism and defends Trump's. Their perception is completely upside-down. Because it's the other way around.

    I can look at a person and see things I like and things I do not like. It does not have to be all or nothing. Rapinoe is a great athlete No question. However, if she holds disdain for the US because of Trump, she has her priorities wrong. The US is much more than Trump. Trump will be gone in a few years, one way or another. I don't turn my patriotism on and off that way. In my twenty years in the military, I did not swear my allegiance to the president. I swore my allegiance to the US and the US Constitution.

    We are going to have a watch party of the game in the morning here in Redding at our state of the art soccer park. She was born and raised here so we are going to support her and the team. This even though the city she grew up in here in California voted for Trump 62-29% over wicked witch Hillary. We will support the team with our MAGA hats on!

    There are plenty of people who question her patriotism. All you have to do is look at her Twitter and you'll see a bunch of ignorant Trumpsters giving her crap.

    She doesn't hold "disdain" for the U.S....she just thinks we can do better...nothing wrong with that...right?

    That is not what I was saying. The quote "questions Rapinoe's patriotism and defends Trump" " just because he hugs a flag." Questions her patriotism because Trump hugs a flag? They don't go together.

    By refusing to put her hand over her heart during the National Anthem. As far as I am concerned she is a mercenary. She is not playing for the USA. She is playing for her own fame and glory.

    When it is done intentionally and refuses to sing the National Anthem. I notice the marine on the right is not saluting. I kind of doubt that he is refusing to salute.

    Hahaha....nice spin and nice moving of the goal posts with adding the singing comment. Apparently you don't get out much as it is rare for crowds to sing the anthem. It is typically only the one person singing the anthem. Singing by the crowd is not required

    No. But she did neither and she has been very vocal in her disrespect. Then you show a photo where Trump does not have his hand over his heart, but neither is the marine saluting which tells me that Trump and the marine and both lowered their hands already.
