Bullshit, country my ass. She is looking for some idiotic company to embrace her and give her a big fat endorsement check, ala Colon Kaepernick.

    "Looking"?

She already had commercial deals with more companies than you have ever heard of. And not only in this country. All over the world.

BTW, her speech yesterday was very conciliatory. Leaving it clear that her only fight is for equal pay. She took the high road, and left the low road clear for Trump and Republicans to use, if they want it. I'm sure they will because it's always been their favorite.

But wait, you said she was getting up and training at 5AM for her country. Which country was that?
As for her fight for equal pay, I'm all for that. It is an easy number to calculate. How much the world champion men's teams bring to the table vs. the women players. I suspect playing the rebel angry lesbian will produce far more cash than kicking a ball up and down the field. Her fifteen minutes are passing very quickly.
As you already know President Trump was very cordial and congratulated ALL of them on their win.
Now when the tranny's take over the women's league you will get to see some real ball kicking.

Okay, mainly because I look at things differently, not through deep red or blue tinted glasses. So be it.

I like that, "A return to Normalcy. That would be an ideal campaign slogan. Personally, I'd like to see a fresh young face advocating that.

BTW, your homophobia is starting to show. That is sometimes sign of a closet condition, you know.

Trump loves porn stars....and his wife, The First Lady, loves to pose in lesbian nude photographs.

The thing that's funny about Trumpsters, is they love to brag about gay people who "walk away" from the Dem party, and they love to brag about black unemployment rates, etc etc etc etc.

But the fact is, they obviously are racist and homophobic, etc.

    The evidence is everywhere.

They slam Rapinoe and lesbianism, but if Rapinoe were an outspoken Trump supporter, all of a sudden all that would be good. She could do whatever she wants. She could piss on the American flag. She could have lesbian sex during the national anthem. They really don't care about any of that. All they care about is who is on their side and who isn't.

    Look it up yourself.

It's all common knowledge that Trump was in Playboy videos (which featured lesbian stuff), and it's common knowledge that The First Lady posed in nude photos, including lesbian stuff.

So they both were promoting "perversion", as you call it.

With every single thread on this forum, or any other news from the right, I generally double check it to find out that it is usually fake partisan BS.

I dare you to do the same in regard to Trump appearing in Playboy videos.

Good to hear. But, for the record... Rapinoe is not transexual like you. She's a lesbian.

I understand Democrats hate Trump, Republicans love him and independents are fairly split on him. Partisan politics at its finest or worst. Take your choice.

I'll say this, Trump has done somethings I supported and somethings I opposed. Just like every other president in my lifetime. I didn't vote for Trump nor did I vote for Hillary. I voted against both. In 2020, I already know I won't be voting for Trump, I don't particularly like the guy. He is the first president in my lifetime I haven't been comfortable with as president. I was born right after WWII so that includes a lot of presidents.

That being said, not voting for Trump doesn't mean I'll be voting Democratic either. That depends on whom the Democrats nominate. For me, candidates matter.

That is meaningless. Not just Democrats hate Trump. Even his own son hates him. Donald Jr didn't speak a word to his dad for about 15 years, after he learned he had raped his mom. So I don't know why you're so obsessed with who hates him and who loves him. Who cares?

I don't care about any of that.. I care about the fact that he is a lousy President. And this is proven by many facts. For example, what President do you know that did not pass a single significant piece of legislation in his first two years? Let's not even say "pass". He didn't even "sponsor" any significant legislation in his first 2 years other than repealing Obamacare. Even though he never showed anything to replace it with.

That's a lousy President. Anything he does through executive order is meaningless because it expires the second he leaves the presidency. Legislation is what counts. And he has none.

Your reasoning for voting is superficial. This isn't a "beauty pageant". Who cares who you "like"? I didn't like Hillary. I voted for here because I thought she would be a decent President. During the campaign, if it hadn't been for the Hollywood Tape, and the sexual assault victims, Trump and Hillary would have been more or less par as far as personal "likability" There were Republicans in the last process who I believed would make decent Presidents too. Trump was just not one of them. And it just so happens I was right.

I think you're right about Trump, but I think Hillary would have been just as bad. 2016 was an election of pick your own poison, Arsenic Trump vs. Cyanide Hillary. Bottom line, we have whom we have as president today due to the decisions, actions and choices of both major parties back in 2016.

Partisan political party labels aside, most Americans, consistently and relentlessly, in survey after survey, concur in their disapproval of Trump. It's that simple.

Your pretense that it's just a matter of R vs D, and that labeling oneself an "I" automatically invests one with superiority, is nonsense.

Regardless, most Americans appear to be enthusiastically supportive of equal pay for the superior-achieving women's team, and they appear to have an excellent case for it.

    • The women are paid less than the men despite performing similar job duties for the same employer and outperforming the men — at times earning more profit for the federation, playing more games, winning more games, winning more championships and garnering higher television ratings. To support that claim, the lawsuit cites the women's (then) three World Cup titles, four Olympic gold medals, No. 1 rank in the world for 10 of the 11 last years and the 2015 World Cup title game being the most-watched soccer game in American TV history at the time.
    • The women actually spend more time in training camps and playing games than the men because of this success. From 2015-18, the women played 19 more matches than the men.
    • In addition to unequal pay, the lawsuit says the federation provides unequal playing, training and travel conditions, and unequal promotion for games.
Examples cited: From 2014-17, the women played 21 percent of their domestic matches on artificial turf compared to two percent for the men. In 2017, the USSF chartered at least 17 flights for the men and none for the women. Lower ticket prices and less promotion of women's matches led to "USSF-manufactured revenue depression."
    • When the USWNT players association negotiated a new collective bargaining agreement, which took effect Jan. 1, 2017, and runs through 2021, the USSF rejected requests for equal compensation and also turned down a proposed "revenue-sharing model" that would test the federation's claim that "market realities" do not justify equal pay for women. "Under this model, player compensation would increase in years in which the USSF derived more revenue from WNT activities and player compensation would be less if revenue from those activities decreased. This showed the players' willingness to share in the risk and reward of the economic success of the WNT," the lawsuit says.
This year's women's World Cup final, Netherlands vs. USA, received higher television ratings in the U.S. than last year's men's final, helping the women's case of drawing in significant revenue. The final was the most-watched soccer event in the U.S. since the 2015 women's final with 14 million viewers, according to Nielsen's ratings. Fox also said social media gained a lot of viewership, clocking in at 17.8 million across platforms, beating the men's 2018 final by 18 percent.

According to the Wall Street Journal the women's team brought in more money recently than its male counterpart. The women's games earned $50.8 million in revenue between 2016 and 2018 while the men brought in $49.9 million.

Yes, Trump's overall job disapproval has been between 51-55% for most of his presidency. That is a fact.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html

But who disapproves? Democrats disapproval 86%, Republican disapproval 11%, independent disapproval 47%. That comes out to 51% nationwide disapproval. You can see the partisan political party effect. Question 68.

    https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.net/cumulus_uploads/document/al25duedar/econTabReport.pdf

Now we were talking about liking and disliking Trump. Let's say his favorable/unfavorable's. Unfavorable's Democrats 88%, Republicans 11%, independents 50%. Question 64A. Again the partisan political party effect is shown. These are the 9 July 2019 numbers.

Obama on 8 July 2011 disapproval numbers, nationwide 47% disapproval, Democrats 11%, Republicans 85%, Independents 48%. Close to being identical for both presidents this far into their first term. Again you can see the partisan political party effect very plainly.

The big difference is Obama was able to rebound very nicely come reelection time Nov 2012, Obama's overall disapproval number nationwide dropped to 41%, Democrats 5%, Republicans rose to 90%, independents 45%. Independents disapproval didn't drop much, 3 points. Romney actually won the independent vote 51-48, but the Democrats had a 35-30 advantage in the percentage of the total electorate. Voting wise, 93% of Republicans voted for Romney, 92% of Democrats for Obama. Obama won by 4 points. I highly doubt Trump's numbers will change much. They haven't as of yet, remaining in that narrow range of 7 points, disapproval between 51-58%.

This bodes well for the Democrats in 2020 in my opinion depending on whom they nominate. But the numbers back up my statement that Republicans like R presidents, dislike D presidents, Democrats like D presidents, dislike R presidents. Independents go back and forth. liking any president at times and disliking any president at other times. The only exception has been Trump where independents has up till now always disliked him a bit more than liking him. His approval numbers with independents has never been higher than his disapproval numbers with that group. Still, at times they have come close, other times been very far apart.

A: There has never been a World Champion US mens team. The best they've ever done is 3rd, 90 years ago. The women 4 times out of 8.
B: TV ratings for the women's cup exceeded the men's in the US,
C: Nike says their US women's gear is selling far better than the men's.
D: Ticket revenues from US women's games the last three years, since they won their last cup, are higher than the men's.
In other words the women are footing the bill.

    Most Americans do.

Sure, we can focus upon demographic categories - political party affiliation, gender, age, education, wealth, race, ethnicity, etc., etc., etc., but the preponderant, inclusive national sentiment supersedes them all.

Consistently dismal numbers as have been registered by no other POTUS ever:
