Virginia's Lt. Governor, Justin Fairfax has been accused of sexual assault by a woman named Vanessa Tyson. Her complete written statement is found at this link below:

    Link: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/re...atement-on-allegations-against-justin-fairfax

Fairfax had said when the story broke initially that the accusation was completely false, whereupon Ms. Tyson has revealed her identity, and has allowed both her complete statement, and image, to be made PUBLIC. Now let's see what happens... there's some pretty GRAPHIC stuff in that statement!

"Being Black" may not be enough to save him....

I'm going to go with the same supposition I had on Kavanaugh: She didn't go to the cops when it happened its going to be pretty hard to believe her.

Apparently she had gone to the media with it before, and they wouldn't run the story.

You do make a very good point. But remember, with nothing more than a 35 year-old photograph in a school yearbook as evidence, with two people who are so heavily-costumed and disguised that their identities cannot be determined, DEMOCRATS are screaming for "the old White guy", Virginia Governor, Ralph Northam, to RESIGN!

So, on one hand, we've got that 35 year-old photograph of two young morons at a party (?), and next, we've got a statement about a 15 year-old violent sexual assault made on a woman in which she allegedly was forced to perform oral sex against her will.

What, I wonder, do the über-'politically-correct' Democrats make of that...?!

Going to the media with it is not going to the cops when it happens. I stand by my statement.

Being famous and black is enough to pretty much save anybody. Throw in liberal and even kryptonite won't help.

Sure she's black. And that neutralizes his advantage of being black. No "get out of jail" card for him with the liberal MeToo purists. But democrats have a problem because if their governor is forced to resign and this Lt. Gov. Fairfax is forced to resign, who is next? Ha ha, what a fine mess these Virginia democrat idiots have made for themselves.

Going to the media is asking for sensationalism. She should have went to the police. Let's do an investigation and let the evidence play out. If he us guilty he should be force to resign.

Who would take over in Virginia if the Democrats kick both their Governor and Lt. Governor to the curb? Well, under normal circumstances it would be the Attorney General, except that now HE has been 'outed' for dressing up in a black-face costume at a party 39 years ago, so now he's probably looking at the PC 'ejection chute', too. What a half-assed Democrat CIRCUS this is!

Who would be next in line if all three of them get the 'axe'...? A REPUBLICAN! Yeah, a stinking Republican -- in the big Democrat heartland of VIRGINIA! Can you believe it? Link: https://slate.com/news-and-politics...m-blackface-justin-fairfax-sexual-assault.amp

    Didn't save Bill Cosby.

One can believe Tyson and at the same time give Fairfax the benefit of the doubt. The same is true for Ford and Kavaugh. If I was accused, I'd take a polygraph. Immediately.

BTW, "benefit of the doubt" means setting the accusation aside completely.

I agree with you -- if I were accused of anything that I KNEW was a damned lie, the first thing I'd do is get a good lawyer. But, the second thing I'd do is DEMAND a polygraph test, conducted in a fair, unbiased environment, by impartial technicians. My lawyer and I would review all the questions first to make sure they were fair and relevant, and if they were, I'd take the test on one condition -- that the results would be released to everyone in the world! Sure, polygraph tests are not even admissible in a United States court-of-law, but they certainly indicate a strong willingness of a person to prove his innocence!

The woman who accused Kavanaugh had a vague and inconsistent story. She was also a radical leftist, motivated to keep Kavanaugh offf the court.

The woman in the current situation has a story without any holes and she's a Democrat. She has no political motivation to lie.

But I really don't care about this. I don't care if the Lt. Governor is jailed or if he stays in office. That's for the people of Virginia to resolve.

There was an extenuating circumstance there - Cosby was famous, Black - and spoke out against other Blacks regarding their behavior. He started sounding positively Conservative. I give you this post as an example of how he was looked at by other Blacks:

The left has their standards which change from day to day depending on the race, gender, religion, political affiliation and immigration status of the people involved, but I'm going to go with I can't convict this guy based on a statement, but Mr Legal probably would.

I would like to see the left be consistent in their standards. The question the left is probably pondering is does a double minority black women carry more politically correct weight than a single minority black politician?

I disagree for this reason -- what's in Virginia today could pop out and emerge BIG on the national scene tomorrow. It is characteristic of diseases to SPREAD. Consider: Obama started out as a small-time 'community organizer' who insinuated himself into local politics in Illinois. The next thing you know, this NOTHINGNESS found itself in the White House! Further consider all that's happened to this country during the eight years Obama was in power....

    Hmmmm, media vs police.
Sounds more like revenge than a crime.
