    I'm no bible freak.

There are millions of people across this planet who know the earth is flat. I'm not alone.

If you're interested in hearing much better arguments than the ones I make for the flat earth, go on YouTube and start watching.

There are thousands upon thousands of videos using observable science, proving our earth is flat.

Uh huh. Thanks for reminding me why I don't normally bother "debating" with you.

By the way, I've met someone who's been to Antarctica.

Did they tell you that it looks just like the non photographic cartoon drawing you just showed me?

Am I supposed to believe some government manufactured cartoon as REALITY, dude?

If I was like you, and believed that childish crap, I would truly be insane.

Um, it's Google Maps, not a "government manufactured cartoon." And it was showing you the locations of research stations in Antarctica. See, you claimed no one is permitted to go there, but of course many, many people have been there and will continue to go there for research purposes. It looks like you could even go there as a tourist: http://www.intrepidtravel.com/antarctica

It's one thing if you want to sit at home and have strange delusions about the outside world, but I do wish you wouldn't make up and tell silly fibs to try and support those delusions.

The fellow I met was a professor of mine for one class. He told a funny little anecdote about coming back to Minnesota after having been in Antarctica and the difference it made in his acclimation. He said was walking around in short sleeves here while everyone else was bundled up against the cold.

If you believe google maps (which is indeed operating in conjunction with the Govt, otherwise how would they get their false data??, duh) is telling you truth through cartoon drawings, then you've completely lost your mind.

Yes, people are allowed short visits to one very specified and Govt approved, Govt protected (with guns) area of Antarctica as tourists. But this is not available to the general public all the time. Otherwise, NOBODY is allowed past the militarily guarded areas.

You have a long way to go and a lot more research to do, before you can even think about claiming I'm wrong, here.

Also, if I were you, I'd ask that university for my money back.

What kind of emotionally handicapped moron walks around in cold Minnesota with a T-shirt on, just to brag about having gone to Antarctica? That's about as cheesy as it gets.

What a LOSER that alleged "professor" must be, dude.

And if that's the guy educating you, and other kids, that tells me just about all I need to know concerning the future of this world.

Where do you even get your information about Antarctica?

I expect you could see the entire landmass of it from the ISS if you care to watch the live video stream from it, though I expect you'll want to do that in our winter months when there's more sunlight bathing the antarctic region..

Hm, but of course you'll tell me that that's some kind of fancy deception put on by "the government" as well, won't you?

Do you have nothing better to do with your time than troll online with outlandish conspiracy theories?

    Good trolling, good trolling.

He wasn't doing that when he was telling us the tale. It was something that happened before then, because that was when he was still acclimated to Antarctica's bitter cold, making the cold up here feel relatively warm and pleasant to him. I imagine that didn't last more than a matter of days.

Are you claiming there's no military presence in Antarctica?

Are you claiming anyone is free to go to any part of Antarctica, whenever they want?

Are you claiming tax dollars, and thus Govt, do NOT fund the alleged ISS feed?

On other nights, I make music.

All I'm doing is asking where you get your "information."

I can't comment much on what militaries get up to around Antarctica because I personally haven't been there, but here comes Wiki to the rescue:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_activity_in_the_Antarctic
As Antarctica has never been permanently settled by humans, there has historically been little military activity in the Antarctic. Because the Antarctic Treaty, which came into effect on June 23, 1961, bans military activity in Antarctica, military personnel and equipment may only be used for scientific research or any other peaceful purpose (such as delivering supplies) on the continent.[1]

The Antarctic Treaty specifically prohibits military activity on land or ice shelves below 60°S. While the use of nuclear weapons is absolutely prohibited, the Treaty does not apply to naval activity within these bounds (in the Southern Ocean) so long as it takes place on the high seas.

Are you going to claim that this is somehow incorrect? If so, are you going to provide some basis for your claim?

My information comes from all kinds of places on the internet.

    I am a researcher. I really don't make claims unless they're true.

Quite a few people do not take me seriously here, but no one takes you seriously. Few people will even argue with you because it would be like the ludicrous side of (*)(*)(*)(*) hitting the fan, so they just do not bother. Many families have the crazy uncle, and they generally just ignore his looney tunes statements.

Get help man, you are disconnected from reality, or just a joker and midnight toker. This will be my last post on your little thread. For teaching a pig to sing, is impossible, and you annoy the pig.

And who refers to himself in the 3rd person? LOL. Well, there was that guy on Seinfeld, and like this thread, that was a comedy. But a much better one.

My sources are better than your sources. That's an absolute.

And where else are you supposed to research constantly evolving alternative information?

You're making a liberal use of words like "research" or "data".

Who in their right mind would take you seriously?

    And you know this how?

    Well, that's only half right.

So? Millions of people can be wrong? A popularly believed lie is still a lie no matter what you want it to be.

Those who speak in absolutes are absolutely foolish.

Indeed. Have you NEVER learned anything from YouTube?

What's wrong with YouTube? Multitudes of documentaries, as well as anything you could want to research is available on that website.
