Liberals threatening to leave if Trump is re-elected in 2020, that truly would be a start to Make America Great Again. It's all a bunch of Hogwash though, there were a bunch of Celebrities that stated they would leave the good ol USofA if Trump was elected in 2016 and they didn't go anywhere. I really wish they would leave, because the less of them infecting American Society with their Icky ideas, the Better. Why on Earth would Liberals want to Leave, because of Trump, but wish for illegals to come here to a United States led by Trump, doesn't make any sense.

It’s mainly the youth — who are extremely dissatisfied with our political system in general but absolutely hate republican ideals. This will be a difficult demographic for the right to overcome in the upcoming decades especially as their primary base (the silent generation, boomers and the religious) continue to shrink.

Patience is truly a virtue in this....they would leave only to come back in a few years. Shortsighted thought and ignorance provide no future.

Sounds like a lot of these Celebrities believed the Polls that said Hilary Clinton had a 98% chance of winning the election in 2016, so they went out and spouted a bunch of nonsense saying they'd leave if Trump was elected, but of course they didn't follow through on their Threats, but I sure wish they had. I have friends in Canada and absolutely love it up there, but I certainly wouldn't move there, because I got Poopy Diapers and was mad my candidate didn't win the election, I'd move there, because it's beautiful and not so crowded.

That was before the internet age of instant information.

Metrics are showing this trend has slowed down considerably.

Gen Z is showing to be significantly more liberal than gen Y who are already significantly more liberal than gen X

People rarely reverse course on social issues, monetary policy may shift though.

Secession is the answer. I'm not going to leave my home. But I sure as hell want no part of whatever red states are trying to do.

Support the right of secession. Let each State make up their own mind if they want to be a part of the criminal state trumpers want.

Trumpers claim to be all about State's rights. So put up or shut up.

    Legalize secession for all States.

Write your representatives today. Demand that they allow each State to choose. Red States want to be rid of Blue States anyway. So both sides should agree on this.

A country that looks like Alabama but without the financial support from the blue states. That’s terrifying.

No state is going to secede, that would be a foolish decision and any state that did such would be in instant financial trouble. There is no way they could raise any money through bonds or the like.

Our youth have been conditioned to expect free stuff from government. Republicans are far less likely to offer freebies.

For example, college loans. Most young people support forgiveness on all loans. Republicans are the evil Grinches who want the loans paid back. Dems are talking about writing off all pending loans (about $500 billion). So it’s not shocking young people prefer the Dems.

“Most conservative generations ever”, do you have a source for that?

Post secondary education is provided as being part of a system throughout the world. As is healthcare. Education has shown to be one of the best investments a individual, family, state or country can have.

Most people can observe the absurdity of the situation, even many evil grinches who have no problem with losing trillions in the defense budget or coddling billionaires, agribusiness and monopolies (as long as they play along)

Liberals: A good country for you to go to would be England, or if you like a warmer climate, Mexico.

Mexico has a Socialist President now, so enjoy.

(By the way, everything may not be as wonderful as you imagine there, don't say I didn't warn you)

l’m all for higher education. I spent five years (part time) working on a master’s degree. If I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is enroll in a Ph.D program. I would encourage anyone to go as high and as far as they can go in school.

But they must pay for it. And they must pay back their loans.
