Scroll back, I posted previous prophecy of this planet hitting earth in 2012. Scientist just now have acknowledged the probable existence of such a planet. Did you even read the OP?

Oh jeez.. There were schools for prophets in Palestine.. and prophets were like political analysts.. Most prophesy was also after the fact.

This Meade guys is before the fact. Still though my only point is science has now all but confirmed the existence of a planet that these people have been claiming existed for many years. To me that's interesting, to most others in here it seems to be cause for anger and consternation.

I don't think this thread should be in the science section.

What is a hypothesis in physics?
In science, a hypothesis is an idea or explanation that you then test through study and experimentation. Outside science, a theory or guess can also be called a hypothesis. A hypothesis is something more than a wild guess but less than a well-established theory.

    https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/hypothesis

"Hypothesis" and "Theory" have different meanings outside of science. A bible hypothesis is based on stuff like the supernatural i.e. this should be in a religious sub forum.

Sorry. David Meade is a half baked conspiracy nut trying to earn a living.

The rich myths of ancient Sumer were just myths.

I agree but it's still fact that a planet he has based his myths on is now accepted to exist by science. I don't know why everyone gets their panties in a wad over this. Fear maybe?

Meade is a Christian numerologist.. and a charlatan. He's the one who says the world will end on Sept 23, 2017,

    You're just wrong - it's not fact.

    Concise from NASA:

Caltech researchers have found evidence suggesting there may be a "Planet X" deep in the solar system. This hypothetical Neptune-sized planet orbits our sun in a highly elongated orbit far beyond Pluto. The object, which the researchers have nicknamed "Planet Nine," could have a mass about 10 times that of Earth and orbit about 20 times farther from the sun on average than Neptune. It may take between 10,000 and 20,000 Earth years to make one full orbit around the sun.

"The possibility of a new planet is certainly an exciting one for me as a planetary scientist and for all of us," said Jim Green, director of NASA's Planetary Science Division. "This is not, however, the detection or discovery of a new planet. It's too early to say with certainty there's a so-called Planet X. What we're seeing is an early prediction based on modeling from limited observations. It's the start of a process that could lead to an exciting result."

It's hypothesis not theory, not fact.

Thanks... Charlatans like David Meade and Hagee do this all the time. Last year it was "blood moons".

And what does that have to do with the fact that a planet he claimed existed many years ago has now been accepted as a probability by science?

What was his evidence for such a claim?

Yes, hypothesis is the exact word I have used in this thread several times. Science has now accepted that the existence of this planet is probable based on evidence and that makes it a full fledged hypothesis with more evidence than the AGW hypothesis has which so many want us to base our lives on.

He had no evidence, he and others only prophesized this planet based on their interpretation of geneses and ancient Sumerian astronomy. Apparently they were correct in the existence of the planet itself if not on what the results of this planet on earth will be.

Do you even know how many footnotes an AGW wiki page can lead you too?

    Anthropogenic global warming; see:

Than this thread should be moved to a different section as you admit it is not science.

It's convergence of science and religion so it belongs here. Did you not see the NASA link in the OP?

Is there a reason you must change the subject? Could it perhaps be due to being called out and having no other alternative?

Planet 9 has very little data beyond the orbital variables I mentioned whereas Climate change (AGW) has decades of observation and temperature measurements that provide enough verification to become theory. I suggest you look up the scientific method and "Debate" on the internet before replying.

AGW has little beyond correlation while planet 9 has observable phenomenon that only a very large body with an intense gravitational pull can explain.
By the way, when did AGW officially become theory as you claim?

Nope. I know this is a political forum, but you have to have standards set aside for physics. Like mathematics before the supernatural.

As it is painfully clear you either do not wish or are incapable of rational debate I wish you a good day:-?

    Science has now said
    The following is not science?

"Caltech researchers have found evidence suggesting there may be a "Planet X" deep in the solar system. In other words you can't refute the fact that there's more hard evidence supporting planet nine than there is AGW and that AGW is based largely if not completely on correlation is causation. You have a good day too.

It is clear you are jumping to conclusions because you didn't take the time to read more of the article.

What conclusion am I jumping too? I said science has now confirmed this planet may indeed exist. A hypotheses has now been formed on what was once religious myth. As the OP said, science and religion have met.
    Once again:
"Caltech researchers have found evidence suggesting there may be a "Planet X" deep in the solar system. This hypothetical Neptune-sized planet orbits our sun in a highly elongated orbit far beyond Pluto."
