I thought this was a really interesting article and decided I would share it with this forum. I found it interesting because to my knowledge, Nemtsov was not a majorly influential political figure in Russia. He was sort of a formerly major figure, who was rich, and said a lot of things, arguably to stay in the spotlight. That they would kill someone like him was a little surprising. My best guess is that with Russia having seemingly won in Ukraine, maybe they killed him even though he was a minor figure in order to show how thorough their reach is. Just as likely is that he was killed by the fanatical supporters of Putin without Putin's order. Either way I think it's a milestone for the west's view of Russia and possibly also for Russia, though political killings are a lot more common there than they are in the west.
