On June 30, 2013, 19 members of the Prescott Arizona FD Granite Mountain Hotshots were killed fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire. The fatalities were members of the group, which consisted of twenty members, of which only one survived. The firefighters had apparently deployed fire shelters, but not all of the bodies were found inside them. Autopsy reports revealed that they died of "external and internal thermal injuries." They burned to death.

It was the worst loss of wildfire fire fighters lives in history.

On June 30th, please take a moment to offer a thought or a prayer for these brave men. God bless them all and God comfort their families and friends.

Please don't politicize this thread. Thank you.

    Cheers,
    Jason Bourne

Of course, no reply to courage and sacrifice.

Incredible. Not one response to the sacrifice these brave men made. Not one.

    What a turd forum.
