Rep. Mayra Flores: Dems Have 'Abandoned' Hispanic Community

…“Jill Biden and the far left don't see us as Americans,” Flores lamented. “They see us as tacos. And they think that's all that it’s going to take for us to vote for them, and it's not. They're going to have to get to work. We really have had enough of the Democrat Party's far-left policies that are hurting us tremendously here in south Texas and in the entire country.”

According to Flores, Democrats have “abandoned the Hispanic community.”

“The Hispanic community's about God, family and hard work, and right now our biggest concern is the economy,” she said.

“I really do believe that the reason why we were successful in the special election is because with we were focused on God, family values and the economy. And, of course, the border crisis that is hurting us tremendously here in south Texas and throughout the country.”

She also discounted Democrats who describe her position as “far right.”…


…“I am not far right, do not hold their values. I'm a conservative, and I will always represent the Hispanic community,” she asserted.

“I grew up with those values. They have been instilled in me is since I was born, and I'm not willing to put my values aside for no political party.”

“The Democrat Party wants to forget how we were raised,” she added. “|They want us to forget about our family values. They want us to be obedient to party. I'm an immigrant. They claim to be in support of immigrants, and I only get but hate from the Democrat Party. They want to send me back to Mexico.”

Flores condemned the hypocrisy of people who say they support immigrants but “don't want us near them.”…

Mayra Flores was exactly right to say what she said to Fox News as reported here by Newsmax. Democrats have abandoned the Hispanic population. They can no longer tolerate values such as God, family, and country first in their midst so they walked away, just as they have from the white working class in recent years.

 

Mrs. Jill Biden’s comments clearly shows the underlying contempt of the bicoastal secular progressive democrat urban elites toward the values of immigrants who have assimilated into the American dream.

 

It is sad that Mrs. Jill Biden is so condescendingly arrogant regarding immigrants she thinks owe it to democrats to support them no matter what.

 

They absolutely have abandoned them, they have abandoned a lot of people. Myself being one of them.

 

It just goes to show that the main priority is once again the economy. Hey, they know where their bread is buttered!

I haven't seen the Latinos this fired up in support of the right since the run-up to the George W Bush Presidency!

 

Me too and at one point I was one of them. I switched long ago though. Two people primarily responsible for making me see the light. Ronald Reagan and Howard Jarvis. Like Reagan said, I didn’t leave the democrat party, the democrat party left me.

 

This one will surpass that as long as RINO’s like Mc Cain and Romney don’t get control of the party again.

She may well ride the red wave in November and be re elected. There’s two more Latina women running in Texas and another in Virginia as Republicans. 2022 is going to be a bigger year for minority GOP members elected to office than 2020/2021 were.
