HuffPost reports that in January 2013, Wheeler liked a Facebook picture of Barack and Michelle Obama that showed them looking at a “white person’s hand holding a banana.” He also retweeted Jack Posobiec, who promoted the Pizzagate conspiracy theory, on his personal Twitter account in February. In a 2014 Facebook comment, Wheeler joked that Hillary Clinton was in the “Bible’s apocalyptic predictions.”
